Key Features: 

- Offline Mode - Take your favorite podcasts and mixes offline wherever you go! If you’re on a podcast or any list containing episodes, swipe the episode item from right to left, and tap on the download “cloud” icon to begin the syncing process. You can find the progress of your download in the swiped episode view, or in the Player view if you’ve downloaded the episode from within the Player. 

To access podcasts that you’ve downloaded, just go to Following, and tap on the top right folder icon. Your downloaded episodes will be listed for you in alphabetical order.

- Feed - A dynamic social feed that gives you updates on followed podcasts and Facebook Friends. See new episodes from podcasts you follow and what podcasts your Facebook Friends follow and like. You’ll even get notified when the podcasters you love release new content.

- Circular Player - Easily scrobble through an episode and enjoy instant feedback with the all new new circular player. Comment, like, share, or add an episode to a playlist. Download the episode, scrobble forward and backward, change the episode speed, add a sleep timer, or download the episode to save and listen to on your commute, or when you’re on the go.

- Mini Player - Play an episode, then minimize the player to keep the episode playing in the background with the all new Mini Player. You can pause and play the episode from here while you navigate through the app. 

- Episode Swipe - swipe an episode in a list to preview, download, or get more info on an episode.

- Preview Player - On a list view, tap on the top right ‘Preview All’ button to initiate the 90 second Preview Player for all episodes in a list. 

- Discover - Get real time insights into what podcasts are trending in the Podomatic social sphere. Re-discover your favorite categories and talk show topics, or find your new favorite show or series. An intuitive discovery platform along with full search capabilities make it easy to find the podcast or playlist you’re looking for.

I tolerate this music player yo get specific content not available elsewhere, otherwise I wouldn’t use it. 
There’s no CarPlay interface, so I must manually start playing with my iPhone before driving. 👎👎👎
The app is extremely security conscious and log out after a few days. 👎👎👎 There’s no option to ‘stay logged in’ 👎👎👎
When I re-enter the app, it doesn’t remember which artist I was playing. 👎👎👎
Otherwise it plays music good, but that’s pretty simple isn’t it?!

The app signs you out within a few hours, does not keep your place in a given episode, and has a bad interface. Not good unless you have to use it to access content not available elsewhere.

Every episode is so enjoyable for me because Matt Pelsor really helps his listeners get to know the folks he interviews. The PodOmatic Podcast Player is totally easy to use after multiple updates through several years through 2 iPhones I have used.

I am very disappointed that this app does not have a setting that allows you to reverse the order of the podcast episodes. The podcast episodes wanted to listen to was a series of several years long, after scrolling for several minutes I finally gave up. This forces a person to listen to all the episodes in reverse. I’m not impressed.

I’m new to the app. I followed a couple of podcasts. I downloaded or “made available offline” several episodes of each. When you are on a given show’s page and viewing its lists of episodes, there is an indicator that you have at least started to listen to a particular episode but there is no distinction between the episodes you have already downloaded and those you haven’t (but have not yet started to listen to). Also, on one of the podcasts I followed, when you go to its list of episodes under “Offline Episodes” none of the episodes have its title and short description. That field is blank. You can still click on it and it will play for you, but even on that page as it’s playing, the info is blank. On the other podcast I followed, the episodes I downloaded show up on its offline episodes page but I don’t believe they actually downloaded as they won’t play at all. It just spins and spins when you try to listen. Unfortunately, this was a very poor start when trying out this new app to me. I will likely just go back to relying on Apple Podcasts for my offline listening. Disappointed.

My suggestion would be to create a more fluid transition between uploading and editing your podcast. The first few times were really simple and then something fell apart and I was unable to upload the audio files unless I published even though I was not ready to release it. I love the sound quality and the simplicity of it all. Also is there anyway to combine both platforms into one podcast app for an easier user experience and interface? Thank you guys for responding to my questions so quickly each time I reach out to you! You're the best!
