Love that there is such a variety across different genres. It honestly helps calm me during my down time. Being a new mom listening to other moms talking about the struggles of motherhood has helped me feel not alone! Why do they keep releasing this when nothing has been improved? Really difficult to use. Literally no reason to leave the mainstream podcasting apps for this. I don’t even think they know what AI means when all this does is recommend other podcasts which is exactly what the other podcast apps do but much better. TLDR: Don’t waste your time with this. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t Make It Through the Sign Up Process *2022-11-01, version 2.1.0* Kept receiving errors in the sign up process. Was never able to make it through. If it’s this much of a pain to sign up, I imagine it’s probably just as painful to use. ### 1/5 — Raleigh Tesamala *2021-08-30, version 0.7.2* I don’t know why they keep releasing this app without fixing it. It’s just complete crap, like the last one. It is really confusing to use. I think I’ll still with the mainstream channels. ### 3/5 — Weird install bug *2024-09-07, version 2.9.0* The app asks for access to your contacts (a big no no in my book). You don’t get an option to skip. When you tell iOS to block the request the app gets stuck on this screen forcing you to choose allow to proceed. If you quit the app and relaunch you can get past this install step. Crazy. Hope they fix. ### 3/5 — Curious but needs some slight work *2022-11-01* So far app seems to be a work in progress. The UI for sign up and UX was not seamless or the most polished. I noticed some overlapping text at the sign up screen (on an iPhone 7). Also after choosing a picture, it didn’t go to the next screen and told me this account already exist. I then went back and logged in to access my account. Here because of the JLD email. Although I didn’t find anywhere to mention him during the account creation process. Will update my review soon after I try out the app! Good luck! ### 4/5 — Very nice, but… *2024-05-07, version 2.9.0* First, I love the way it looks. Modern and the translucent effect of the player background is very nice. Imported my ompl file perfectly. Search seems to work well. Love the episode search too. The only real problem I’ve had is a tendency for duplicate notifications. Instead of one notification for a new episode, I’ll get 2 or 3 notifications for the same episode. But this podcast app if it is kept updated, has the potential to be one of the best. Another problem it has, is it often doesn’t fetch all the available episodes, which other podcast players seem to have no problems doing. It’s certainly one of the best looking podcast players though. Addendum: it doesn’t seem to have the ability to import individual rss files. Opml will import most podcasts fine, but always misses several I know work fine on other podcast apps.needs the ability to import individual files ### 4/5 — Very nice, but… *2023-05-29* First, I love the way it looks. It’s clear that these folks care about the creator and the consumer experience, and they’re very forward thinking in their approach. I’m living for it.
