## What is Poeia?

You know the word exists. It's there, just past where language usually reaches. Poeia helps you find it.

Not a thesaurus. A direction.

Type "courage" and tap "its shadow." You get the thing courage is quietly trying not to be — bravado, false nerve, the bluff that knows it's bluffing.

Type "peace" and tap "an image, not a word." You get: sunset over a placid lake. Not a synonym. A scene that carries the same weight.

Type "death" and tap "say it slant." You get: the door that opens inward only. An angle of approach.

Dozens of ways to bend a word

Tonal axes dial the feel — darker, lighter, warmer, colder, softer, sharper. Poetic moves transform it entirely:

· "a sound" turns loneliness into: one key struck on a cold piano
· "a body part" turns tenderness into: open palm, soft throat, pulse point
· "said by a child" turns mortality into: everything stops someday, even the sun
· "in another tongue" turns homesickness into: hiraeth, toska, Fernweh
· "two breaths longer" turns loss into: the chair no one sits in now
