### 5/5 — Great for teaching actions

*2014-07-08*

I work as a speech therapist with children under the age of 3, and this is a great tool for teaching simple action verbs. Simple, motivating, and fun. My kids love it.

### 5/5 — Superb

*2013-01-02*

Pogg is a terrific way for young children to learn new words. Teaching verbs using movement and animation is wonderful. I would love the student to be able to record the word on to each animation. I also wish the words were written in lower case - more suitable for young ones. Keep up the updates - this is one of the favourite apps for my students with autism.

### 5/5 — Update works

*2012-11-04, version v1.5*

Works great! My 2 year old loves this app.

### 4/5 — Great speech therapy app

*2011-04-28*

This is a great app to use for speech therapy! I use it with my older 2-year old clients with language delays to answer "what did he do?" questions, and I uses it with my younger 2-year olds to work on verbs. My only complaint is that it frequently crashes, but WELL worth the $1.99! The kids LOVE it!

### 4/5 — Great App/Frequent Crashes

*2011-03-28*

I purchased Pogg some time ago and am finding it to be a great app for my special needs preschoolers. Thanks for fixing the moon action! My only disappointment is that the app crashes frequently on my ipad. Sometimes it gets frozen on a screen and other times the app just closes. Hope there'll be a fix for this sometime soon!

### 4/5 — Huge potential

*2011-03-21, version v1.3*

Great idea, but a few issues.
-keeps freezing/closing on iPad 2
-should use all verbs, so SHAKE, not BELL, KICK, not BALL, etc. That would make it much more useful as a special needs app.
Looking forward to updates!!

### 5/5 — Intense

*2010-04-17*

Dude! THIS IS SICK! Intense  I also think that there a parent restriction on it also. He should do more things you could block that are more bad. There should also be some mini games.

### 4/5 — Very Cute!

*2009-09-24*

This is a very cute app! The animations are well done and certainly something kids will enjoy. My daughter thinks a lot of what the alien does is funny. I like the two options in control- either through typing in the command or by selecting a picture of what you want him to do. This makes the app something children can grow with. I do wish that the alien would say the word in his alien voice so that it would reinforce learning to write out the words to kids. I hope there will be updates with even more words and animations. Overall a well done cute app for kids! I recommend it.

### 4/5 — Beautiful

*2009-09-23*

It's a really nice and beautiful application for my child who always laugh seeying it working.

### 5/5 — My Kids love it!

*2009-09-22*

Hilarious game for my kids - they love the cute character and the funny things he does. Recommended highly!

### 1/5 — Pogg is trash

*2022-01-04*

Pogg did not understand gun or shoot. Am very disappointed:( pogg should get smarter. he very stupid stupid. like comon how stupid can he be and so stupid and stupid did i mention that he’s stupid. So stupid and extremely stupid. He is so stupid that he is stupid and just stupid. VERY STUPID just i cant he is so stupid. I cannot define how stupid he is because he is so stupid because he reminds me of stupid. Imagine being stupid, couldn’t be me because i’m not stupid he is stupid. Pogg is stupid and just stupid and he just made pogg even more stupider even after 6 years he still stupid so stupid. I cant believe how stupid pogg is and stupid and he gets stupider and just stupid. He’s pretty smart but he’s still stupid. Pogg is the stupiest thing on earth. He looks stupid, he sounds stupid. He smells stupid. He tastes stupid. he sounds stupid. he feels stupid. Just so stupid i cant, pogg is stupid and you cannot change my mind. So stupid and stupid. he gets stupider by the minute. hes so stupid that he makes grendades go boom and he just so stupid and stupid is pogg is. I give up on pogg and he is so stupid. Next time i see him I will grab a microwave and throw it at him. I give Pogg a stupid out of 10

Sincerely,
Someone who is not stupid and who hates stupid since thats Pogg

### 1/5 — No sound to this app

*2021-03-13*

This app would be perfect alongside my Speech and Language Therapy work but the sound doesn’t work.
I have emailed to ask for help but not heard anything back. If you are able to help your rating would be 5 stars.

### 1/5 — No sound

*2020-08-23*

No Sound so don’t waste your money like I did. Furthermore, very limited vocabulary. I do I get a refund?

### 1/5 — Mrs.

*2015-03-14*

I'm not able to get sound! Son loves it on his speech therapist iPad but we aren't getting sound on his.

### 1/5 — Isn't what it said it was

*2013-12-11*

I bought this app because I was under the impression that it would help my child's vocabulary and it doesn't even stimulate his mind... Don't waste your money on this.. It has a green monster with pictures and your press on the picture and he does what it says.

### 1/5 — Pogg needs to learn more words

*2013-02-02, version v1.5*

My son tried to spell lots of basic beginner words and Pogg has no action for them. Could he learn the basics - cat, dog, bat. Not nearly enough words and the words they have are things beginning spellers won't spell - holiday:-/

### 2/5 — Good Idea - Not Worth It

*2020-09-23*

This app was recommended in a webinar that I took. I thought it would be worth a try. It’s just okay. It doesn’t have enough actions for my clients and the lack of visual stimuli between selections makes it a 2-star app for me.

### 2/5 — Teacher

*2017-04-02*

This app would be much better if the words were read out loud when tapped or spelled.

### 2/5 — No Sound!

*2015-07-30*

Just purchased this app but unable to get sound. I've tried other apps & sound works with them. Was looking forward to using this app with students this school year.

### 3/5 — Needs sound!

*2015-10-05*

This app would be so much more effective if it has sound.

### 5/5 — pogg

*2026-02-06*

pogg

### 5/5 — Great app for teaching verbs and more.

*2023-12-15*

I have used this app for many years with developmentally delayed students. It is one of the few apps that shows actions in motion. Students with limited language and vocabulary, grammatical errors, and those using AAC devices to communicate benefit. And they also have fun with the silliness of Pogg. Would love to see more verbs, of course, but it’s a great jump start to understanding action words for functional communication.

### 5/5 — Fun!

*2021-11-14*

Pogg is a funny, entertaining game! I’m sure it is great for young kids to use (even though I haven’t tested it), the facilities are great and teacher young kids about simple movement and spelling. It’s a great way to start of a child’s life. Most other teaching apps are sooooo boring, but this one is very funny aswell. My 10yo brother was saying it the other day and it was very babyish for him, as we haven’t watched it in 5 or more years, but there was a few he found quite funny.

Overall, it’s a great way to teach your child and it’s fun aswell! :)

### 5/5 — I❤️Pogg

*2020-05-28*

I love Pogg and so do the children I work with. As a speech pathologist for young children, I can use Pogg in so many ways. I wish you could add more actions!!

### 5/5 — Great app for therapists working with kids!

*2020-03-18*

I love Pogg!!! I have used it for many years after learning about Pogg in an alternative/augmentative communication (AAC) course. I can give them choices or ask them to tell me what they want Pogg to do using their talker or a communication board. There’s lots of research in video modeling so Pogg could be developed further and become an even more useful tool. He’s such a great tool!!!

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2017-07-04*

A great app that we have used with PECS for our two year old. He loves pig and it's really helping him to learn new words. The clips are short enough to hold his attention.

### 5/5 — Pogg is adorable!

*2015-08-16*

A fun way to practice vocabulary, this is especially great for simple action words. I use this with young students with special needs, but I think typical little ones just learning how to spell would get a kick out of this.

### 5/5 — Parent

*2015-03-24*

This is a great app to get kids to isolate a small button using their pointer finger to activate. Great animation reward for activating the buttons. This is one of my sons favorite apps.

### 5/5 — Lovely little app!

*2014-12-24*

Good for learning verbs and using them in picture description sentences. Prepositions would be a nice idea too.

### 5/5 — Huge hit with students

*2014-09-06*

This app is a huge hit with my preschool students. It's also a wonderful tool for teaching action words! Thank you for a wonderful item in my toolkit.
