The enhancements with ai and auto suggestions have made the app slower and it constantly crashes now. It’s so hard to search for locations and add them to your list because everything takes so long to load. By the time you finally get a search item to load the pictures for it are just grey boxes so if the business has multiple locations don’t plan to quickly pick one based on the image because it will take forever to load (and sometimes doesn’t load at all). Typically, I’ll get a few minutes into creating a list and I close the app out of frustration because it’s functioning so poorly, or it crashes before I even have the chance. Overall it has a clean set up and looks good but it doesn’t function well at all so it’s really not that useful. Improvement suggestions: I’d like to be able to view my boards in just a list view, no map in the background. The map loading and moving in the background is neat but not helpful because it doesn’t have suggestions on it and can’t be used to find “suggestions near your area” or anything like that - it’s just a green and brown satélite view that serves pretty much zero purpose. Clean up whatever bugs or errors are causing the app to be so slow and crash so frequently, the amount of patience it takes to add anything to a list is staggering. Even adding a new list is almost impossible- I had to close the app three times and restart it to add a list and when it finally caught up I had 5 copies of it. Maybe pair up with an app like All Trails so that outdoor hiking and adventures could be added to one of the categories? (That’s just personal preference though, I understand how that may not be impactful for all users) ### 3/5 — Great app but… *2025-08-12* As a scatterbrain, I love the organization. I also love the recommendations/suggestions they have that you can add to your lists. However, after being in the app for like 5 minutes and about to add something to my list, it crashes and I have to close and reopen the app. Frustrating and I’m afraid if it’s going to crash on me while I’m traveling and I need to look at my lists. All the best, Team Pogo ### 3/5 — Pogo Review *2025-08-10* This app has the potential to reshape how people approach travel planning due to how many features it enables (direct linkage to reservations, linkage to Google Maps, linkage to search results etc). Absolutely awesome concept and love that it’s collaborative! But the main drawback is how buggy it is…frequently crashes and needs to be restarted, which is a bit annoying as a user. Please can you sort out the constant need for restart and then it would easily be 5 stars! **Developer response:** Hi there! Thanks, - Team Pogo ### 2/5 — Clunky and crashes a lot *2025-07-23* Loved this app before when it was Pluto but this version is clunky in that it’s not as intuitive when organising your trip. Crashes a lot and kicks you out of the app which can be frustrating when you are on your trip trying to find something. All in all - just use google maps instead. Flights, when added to itinerary, are not added at the date and time you already entered when adding them to the Transport category. Same with hotel reservations. Does not take time zone changes into account. App crashes constantly and only refreshes by exiting and entering again. All the best, Team Pogo ### 4/5 — Great app but too many glitches! *2024-08-11* This app is great for shared travel planning with functionality for multiple people to add to the same itineraries. I like new features in the current version to add comments and tags to itineraries. I use it on all my trips, but the glitching is so frustrating. The app often crashes when opening map view, or when selecting an itinerary, it also often gets stuck on loading when trying to search/add new points of interest. If these issues were fixed and the app worked smoothly it would be 6 stars from me. I do think the current version has improved by removing some glitches the last version had, but more to be done. But thanks for a really great travel planning app. ### 4/5 — Pluto was better but this is good. **UPDATE** *2024-06-24* I love and miss the layout and design of pluto i was obsessed! But pogo is good as well! I love the detail and i love planning trips with this app! At first the rebrand wasn’t that good (it was probably in development) THE NEW APP IS SO GOOD! Now im left with a list of 40 places and all those details gone… why… ### 4/5 — Great app for organizing trips *2024-04-09* The app is great but sometime the app freezes and turn to grey screen. Thank you ### 2/5 — Has potential, but needs work! *2024-01-04* I’ve tested out a couple of different trip planning apps and I really like the idea of Pogo the best so far, but I’ve been playing around with it for about 10 min and have had to close it out and reopen at least 5 times because it freezes. Has a lot of potential, but definitely needs work! Hope it improves quickly! ### 3/5 — A good app which is ruined by easily fixed problems. *2023-11-26* I got this app a while ago when it was still called Pluto and although it would lag sometimes, I felt it was really effective at what it was trying to do and I enjoyed creating pinboards on it. Now that it has changed to Pogo, all of my boards which I had spent hours upon hours curating are gone, and even when I try to create new ones, the app doesn’t respond and shuts down. Please fix this and you will have a great travel app on your hands. ### 4/5 — Pluto was better but this is good. *2023-11-02* I love and miss the layout and design of pluto i was obsessed! I love the detail and i love planning trips with this app! ### 3/5 — A little disappointed *2023-10-23* I was really exited to use this app as I haven’t seen one like this before my trip. I wanted to plan as much as I can. A couple days before our flight the app had delegated my pinboard and I tried everything to see if I can get it back but I wasn’t able to. Then some of the pinned locations on the map I am unable to click on they just show a purple screen so I was unable to find out what the places I was red to visit was (we was on a really tight schedule so was unable to keep finding each place out again). I am also unable to click on any of the categories they also just show a purple screen and I had to restart the app each time I had pressed on it. I also would like to suggest to maybe tick off the locations that we have been to. The reason I gave 3 starts to the app is because if these problems are fixed I know that this app has the potential to be great. I do hope I will be able to use it on my next trip. The rebranding to Pogo came with a slew of “features” that make it impossible to use. All the places that I saved for my travel plan are gone. I’ve used many over the years and this one just ticks all the boxes. Convenient places to store everything I could need, a useful map function, and a browsing section to look at another trip ideas, to name but a few features! It has helped my family have better planned and better executed trips. We love the ability to collaborate on saving all the places we want to go and then being able to see them on an interactive map that includes your live location. Were able to go with the flow of the day and decide where/what to do next based on the map. If you are someone who wants to plan a much more specific itinerary, that is here too. This is one of those apps that would be devastating to lose access to if the developers stopped supporting, which is why Im here to recommend it so heavily!
