It’s a lie. Don’t fall for it. I downloaded the app because I miss a couple of games I used to play and get rewards, only to find out that since I’ve downloaded them previously, I can’t get the rewards. ### 2/5 — Not exactly as they advertised it *2026-08-30, version 4.52* So the games are fun and everything. But they definitely lie when they tell you that you can earn money doing what you’re already doing. They make it seem like, if you’re already playing a game, that the same game will also show up in their app and you can continue playing it in their app to earn points that can be changed into money. That is absolutely incorrect. If you’ve already played the game or you’re currently playing the game, you no longer qualify to play that game in their app. I got really excited because I do have some favorite games that I did find in their app. But since it clarifies that you have to be a new user of that game, I am disqualified from playing that game in their app to earn points. Totally don’t appreciate lies. If you’re such a successful big time app, you can at least be honest in your ads. ### 4/5 — Too easy *2026-08-27, version 4.52* It actually finds receipts easier ### 4/5 — Linking Errors *2026-08-27, version 4.52* I think Pogo is great for scanning receipts though there is a 35 receipt limit per week. So I need to link my Chase account as well as my Gmail so I get those transactions and points without using the scanning. HUGE problem because my Chase account is linked, but it’s not showing any transactions and then my Gmail will link, but then there’s an error. It’s very frustrating trying to link my account accounts because it doesn’t work. The customer service is trying to help me which is amazing because many apps like this don’t have good customer service but this is SOO agitating. Pogo please fix your linking. :D ### 3/5 — Tracking issue *2026-08-24, version 4.51* Some games I’m able to complete and get rewards with no issue but lately there has been two games that just all of a sudden stopped tracking. I don’t have enough because they keep reducing the reward points! Also they don’t understand how Apple receipts work. Owing Apple does not mean your in app purchase was not made. The developers are less than smart. I already emailed customer support after spending 49.99 on ever merge and not getting rewarded. I owe Apple money so pogo refuses to pay me because they don’t understand how to read Apple receipts. When you email customer service, you’ll be rewarded for the first goal that was not credited to the account but none of the other levels will be credited by customer service. Takes forever to make any payout! ### 1/5 — Robbed me of $20+ *2026-08-22, version 4.51* I was attempting to cash out almost $11 and I had received the verification code and entered it into the required field. Then I got an error message that said “We’re experiencing issues with cashouts currently” and it said to contact support. I did that and a couple of hours later got an email that said they received my request and that I’d hear from them between 24-48 hours. But since it was Friday evening, that means it won’t be sorted out until Monday at the earliest. How convenient for Pogo! I spent too much time grubbing for $10 to NOT GET PAID. So I’m not wasting any more time on this app. ### 1/5 — Can’t even start…. *2026-08-21, version 4.51* I will change my review if I could actually use the app. I get through all of the initial steps, allowing things and everything. I get to the end and nothing happens once I click “finish.” Restarted the app many times and it has saved most of my information and I go through again and again, but still won’t go anywhere after I click “finish.” ### 1/5 — Used to be a nice little receipt scanning app, now requires biometrics AND ID *2026-08-17, version 4.51* I liked pogo a lot. I am removing it from my rebate apps though. They now require biometric data (scanning your face,) AND a valid government ID in order to cash out. Nah. This is a step too far. I can even understand the biometrics. I read through the entire page of ToS, and they’d basically compare biometrics at payout to be sure someone doesn’t have extra accounts. I wasn’t thrilled, but started to fill out the information… only for them to drop the bomb that they also now require a scan of a government ID. Hard no. I don’t trust yall with that information. You do NOT need my ID. This is a blatant grab for PID. “Oh, it’s for tax purposes!” Still no! That nonsense is how your identity gets stolen. It’s even required for a gift card pay out. Heck no. I’m out, POGO, and I’m telling everyone I told to use this app to kick it to the curb too. ### 1/5 — Can’t get this app to load *2026-08-16, version 4.51* I’m seeing a number of good ratings for this app, but let me tell ya, I can’t even set it up! I keep getting error codes!
