2026-03-03: Danke für das Feedback und, dass sie sich kümmern. Dafür habe ich gern auf 3 Sterne erhöht und hoffe auf frohe Bootschaft. Dann erhöhe ich gern weiter. Wann und wie dabei Apps entwickelt werde ist erstmal nicht so erheblich, denn so bald diese online sind werden diese eben auch bewertet, das ist normal.

lieber herr häfner, danke für ihre zeit für das tool, was riesen potential hat. wenn sie ein paar sehr wichtige sachen ergänzen, dann wird es sich massiv durchsetzen. so wie es jetzt ist fehlen mir paar dinge: 1. poi export per teilen aus apple karten in das poi tool mit kompetter datenübernahme 2. eigene fotos zu den pois hinzu geben 3. notizenzeile ist viel zu wenig, man möchte ein feld wo man untereinander schreiben kann 4. backup nicht nur in die icloud, sondern auch per webdav via https auf einen eigenen server. ———— vielleicht schaffen sie es, das umzusetzen, ich persönlich würde dafür auch 10€ einmalig bezahlen, ist das geld dann wert. danke u vg

Wo soll ich anfangen? Es gibt so viele coole Funktionen und ein GPS-Tracker ist auch noch drin. Und alles ohne einen Dienst, bei dem man sich anmelden muss!

Ich blicke bei der Bedienung nicht durch und habe die App gelöscht! OsmAnd oder Magic Earth brauchen zwar mehr Platz, sind aber leichter zu bedienen.

Hallo liebe Software-Entwickler,
ich benutze die POI Toolbox nun schon, seitdem sie unter IOS verfügbar ist. Im Anfang war ich total begeistert davon - endlich ein Tool mit dem man auf Reisen mit dem WOMO oder Motorrad seine Aufenthalte dokumentieren kann. WICHTIG: einfache Bedienung und ohne viel Schnickschnack drum herum, das leistet die APP sehr gut.
Einziges Defizit ist die Notitz-Funktion zu den POIs. Eine Zeile reicht einfach nicht aus um Besonderheiten festzuhalten. Schon öfters habe ich über die Bewertung versucht hier eine Verbesserung anzuregen.
Mittlerweile ist es nur noch eine Hass-Liebe. Ich brauche immer noch etwas außerhalb der APP um mein Erlebtes zu dokumentieren. UND ich bin wieder auf der Suche nach einer anderen APP, die das (siehe oben) besser kann.
BITTE - überlegt doch einfach mal, was diese kleine Erweiterung für die riesige Camper und Motorradfahrer-Community bedeuten und an Mehrwert bringen würde.

This is a surprisingly useful app for pruning large gpx imports and then exporting them to your favorite mapping or navigation app. A few feature suggestions to make it even better: 1. A custom field filter. Some gpx files use non-standard fields for extra metadata. Some way to filter these fields using the folder system would be really useful. 2. related to 1), but if an imported poi has custom fields, it’d be nice to view them (somehow). 3. A setting to preserve the <cmt> field during import/export and view it in the UI (it gets over-written by the name of the import folder) 4. POI clustering would be useful for big data sets. Amazingly the app doesn’t crash importing 70k POIs, but the map isn’t so useable at this point. 5. Support for quick adding a poi based upon an iOS shortcut. 6. The contact email option doesn’t work if there’s no mail client installed. I wanted to send you a thank you email but couldn’t. Alas, thank you 👏

**Developer response:** (related to 1) Your ideas are appreciated and I could work on that the next winter, as I am also thinking about something like "temporary imports" (these imports that are being removed after the app restarts, if not saved to your POI library).

Sorry for the email inconvenience... but that is the only option for me to let you reach out to me without the need to connect the app to a cloud-service thingy.

Update (regarding 4): Clustering is in testing and will be released if the app seems to be stable and won't impact other app features that are essential to bicycle riders.
