They are all from the “news” feed which really are just advertisements. I reached out to PBCU by means of email to inquire as to how to turn those notifications off, and my email was acknowledged and the the ticket (ticket #25797) was closed without any human being reaching out to me or any fix made or any resolution suggested. Appears PBCU just doesn’t really care. Banking apps, in my opinion, should notify of you of IMPORTANT things happening with your account. It is alarming to see a notification on a banking app and it creates an urgent response. This should not be “selling” opportunity. None of my other banking institutions do this sort of thing. ### 1/5 — Unstable Update *2025-05-28, version 2025.2.2.3* Was better, but after updates, app is unstable and touch ID does not pop up. I have to manually bring up the touch ID pop up screen. I have app set to use Touch ID. Sometimes the screen has a scrolling text like instability. I can correct this by changing screens and going back to accounts. Reinstalled a number of times but still have the same problems. Problems with iPad Air installation. While the credit union itself provides decent service and good rates, it’s banking app is not user friendly and very outdated. I have a joint checking with my husband and they failed to inform me beforehand that because he is listed as primary, only he has access to online banking for the account from his app or the website. This makes bill pay and checking balances extremely difficult. Also no matter how many times I log in from my phone or my personal laptop the app makes tells me it has to verify this unknown device with a code to my email or phone. This is painfully annoying every time. These inconveniences have us considering a new banking institution.
