I happen upon your app in the app store. I am disappointed because there is no mention of its compatibility with voice over, thus making it inaccessible. I was going to suggest this app to some of my deaf-blind friends because of the features. I can't in good conscious do that now because I know the questions that will be asked. I also know what their concerns will be and their main concern would be the accessibility. Incorporate my suggestion in your app in some way and I will definitely change my review. But could be better *2016-01-29, version 4.9.3* The update made some good changes. But some functionality is missing. There isn't a list of stores anymore so that I can see what stores are in the mall and then click on the name to easily find the store on the map. They do have a search option where you can type the name and find it, but it was nice to be able to see the store list so that I could see what stores there were in the mall without having to do a one by one search. For example, you used to be able to see all kids stores, or women's shoes. But now you have to either search by name or just look around the map. The 3D view is pointless. It's still a flat map so why make it 3D. Just the ability to spin the map around. But the 3D view just makes it hard to control the angle view. Additionally, not all store names are displayed all the time like it used to be. Now you have to vary the zoom in and out so you can see the store name. The is really not helpful when trying to see what stores are around. ### 3/5 — Update needed *2015-10-14, version 3.1.80* While this app is a huge help, since I work in different malls every day, it hasn't been updated in 3 years! There are many issues such as "Sorry we can't get the information for this venue right now. Try again later." and there are plenty of malls I travel to that do not even show up on the app, as if they didn't exist. Please fix! ### 4/5 — Good information *2013-04-15, version 3.1.80* A great program, and very easy to use. Maps download quickly, and the information is fairly useful. Only potential complaint - when using it, it will highlight different services, like ATM's, etc. I find myself usually looking for places to eat - would be nice if it called out restaurants like it does those other services. ### 5/5 — Worth it! *2013-02-28, version 3.1.80* The info isn't always up to the minute, but if you travel a lot, just having a basic lay of the land and ability to search malls and airports is extremely helpful. I avoid malls whenever possible, prefer to shop small businesses, so barely know the layout of the mall closest to me. With this app, I can find the store I'm looking for in advance so I know which side to park on and avoid walking the full length with potentially heavy bags. Very helpful, even more so in unfamiliar cities. ### 4/5 — Really good! Suggestion- *2012-09-15, version 3.1.80* This app has been really helpful whenever I've needed to use it. But I wish it had a feature that allowed the user to kind of make a shopping list? Especially when I'm in a shopping mall and there are a lot of stores, it would be useful to be able to make a list of specific stores with little "bookmarks" on their location when displayed on the map. ### 5/5 — Really handy and nicely put together! *2012-07-14, version 3.1.80* I've not seen anything else like this app. I find it really handy when I'm looking for certain items and I want to know which mall had the best shops to find what I'm looking for. Anyone that gives this app a review of less than 4 stars probably has a brain equivalent to a monkey...actually that would be an insult to a monkey since even it could use this app and find it's favorite banana shopping store. ### 5/5 — This app made me love Bellevue Square! *2011-11-03, version 3.0.55* I've never liked going to Bellevue Square before because I always get lost and turned around, but with this app, I found what I wanted right away. The blue arrow followed with me on the map and I was never lost. I'll be visiting this mall more often now that I have an excellent guide in my pocket! ### 5/5 — Very Useful *2011-04-30, version 2.6.1* This app is very useful, it will help a lot when you are on a mall and want to know your exact position or the name of the stores in a map instead of viewing only numbers and searching for the name on a printed map. ### 4/5 — So very good... *2011-01-08, version 2.5.2* This app is likable and helpful and at times amazing. What a great idea to provide GPS-like guidance indoors at places where it matters most. Being able to find the nearest restroom while shopping at Tysons Corner or Union Station in DC is both handy and essential sometimes. I'm amazed how the little "Your are here" icon moves around indoors to show me where I am now and where the next search result is located. Just being able to search all the store names in a given area and then have them pointed out is very useful. Its a cool idea and nicely implemented. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn't even show the Apple Store in my mall *2023-03-19* At this point, a fail. End users need to download 2 more apps? How about the developer clowns integrated their own apps. Not updated in 3 years. Uninstalling. ### 1/5 — Not up to date *2018-12-15, version 5.13.1* Showed stores as being open. Even lists hours. But several of these stores have been closed for years. ### 1/5 — Deleted *2017-12-30, version 5.8.1* Just deleted. Makes no difference what I search for shows no result. Also Says there’s an internal error. I deleted it and reinstalled it (sometimes that helps) but not this time so deleted it. Used to be a Good App but not anymore. ### 1/5 — This app no longer works *2015-10-08, version 3.1.80* I love this app! It has been so helpful in the past. However, it will only show mall locations at this time. When I click on a location, I receive an error message and no information about the mall. Prior to this, I was receiving inaccurate/ old information about stores and locations inside of the shopping malls. This app has not been updated since 2012. It is useless at this point if I can't even open it to find the closest restroom. ### 1/5 — Not accurate, old info, and buggy O' My! *2013-02-10, version 3.1.80* Looked at using at my local mall thinking this might be cool. It Wasn't Cool. Stores that have been closed for over a year still showing. Can't search by any of the categories, info on the stores that are still there was wrong. Oh, and my favorite was the random black screen of death. Had to relaunch a few times for it to go away and see anything in app again. I forgot to mention the navigation is hopeless with tags popping up any time I tried to move around the map. Epic Fail. Hopefully someone does this right, but it isn't this app. ### 1/5 — Needs Retina Display *2010-12-03, version 2.5.1* The display of the airports and malls maps could be a lot clearer. It needs the retina display for the iphone 4 users. Should be able to double tap to zoom instead of the pinch zoom only and when you do zoom it is not clear as it should be for retina display. This app has a very poor ui and interface. When are you going to implement these features and fix these problems, it has been several months now and nothing. ### 1/5 — Doesn't deliver the features claimed *2010-06-07, version 0* If there is an airport icon, I'm damned if I can find it. Only way to get to airport list is to sort through the entire list of malls and airports. Navigation between features in this app are nonexistent. No Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport? Unbelievable. Mall maps are very dated, some stores out of business, new stores missing. This issue is forgivable, though, due to the high number of recent business closures. A good idea, and one I'd pay for - when it delivers what the developers claim. ### 1/5 — Would be so good if the data was correct.. *2010-06-06, version 0* This has a lot of potential and the core functionality has improved a lot since it first came out. However, as they say, incorrect data is worse than none. In both of the malls nearest me, many stores listed in the map have been replaced or gone out of business *YEARS* ago. I think it's going to be a challenge for the developers to make sure this app has the latest information, and that kind of defeats the purpose of the app. ### 2/5 — Used to work *2019-08-04, version 5.14.1* Maps of the mall doesn’t show up anymore. Not much help without that. ### 2/5 — Getting worse by the day *2012-07-09, version 3.1.80* As a road warrior, I sometimes end up in airports or shopping malls for the first time more often than I would like. PI used to be an incredible app to help me figure out where I was and where I needed to go for the best airport lounge, to pick up a shirt or underwear in a pinch, or to get a good meal after a long day. I don't know what the developers are thinking, but with each new iteration it is getting harder and harder to understand and to use. For example, there is now a little navigation wheel at the bottom that in theory allows you to move between terminals and floors. However, it's spring loaded so you have to be insanely accurate or it won't move where you want it to, but will "bounce back" to a random location. Also, unless you know where something is, you cannot find it. Assume that you are at the San Francisco AIrport, have the wheel set to the second floor of Terminal 1 and you search for the United Club. The map will point to the right place (Concourse F), but unless you know that Concourse F is in T3, you're screwed because the wheel still says T1, second floor. The wheel should move to point to the same place as the map so that you have some idea of where you need to go. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Sweet! *2018-03-05, version 5.9.0* Fast, accurate, and simple to use. It's amazing how they manage to keep this updated for free. I submitted an update and it was reflected in the map a few days later - see if google can match that! I have continued to use this app despite the sometimes outdated info because it is a great indoor map/guide for airports and malls. I thought for sure I was never going to see an update on this app in my lifetime since the last one took place back in 2012, but I'm happy to be proven wrong! After waiting 3 long years, the mother of all great updates took place and gave birth to this!! I love everything about it, from the 3D views of the blueprints to a search function that actually works now!! Despite all the flaws it had previously, it had never stopped me from recommending it to others since I loved the concept of it. But now, I can change my recommendation line from - "This app is great, BUT......" to this line instead - "This app is 100% AWESOME and you need to download it ASAP!!" ### 5/5 — I love love love this app! *2015-11-25, version 4.9.3* It makes layovers almost bearable. I don't have to settle for the closet restaurant in the airport, I can search for "food" and find the hidden gem. It tells me how long it will take to get to my gate! I wouldn't travel without it. I've even used it at Bellevue Square mall to find a kitchen store. The new maps are awesome. Point Inside rocks! ### 5/5 — Finally!! *2015-11-25, version 4.9.3* This app has desperately needed an upgrade for years. I decided it was never going to happen. I was shocked when I saw Point Inside in the updates list. The update is extremely impressive and it seems like the team has worked hard at putting out something they should be proud of. Use it all the time since it makes it super easy way to find stores in the mall (with open hours!) and restaurants in airports. Super smooth, and looks great on the iPhone 6 and iOS 9.
