Now all I keep getting is “network connection error”. Delays when giving commands, doesn’t match up to what the thermostat says. When it works, it’s great. Come home and door is unlocked and times where logs are missing for the day. Wondering if there is a reason in why other then the fact that the system is flawed. Because it’s not secure and which has to be why renters insurance is demanded. It a joke and I can’t have a key but to count on a system that has bypasses that could be accessed from the internet. Why no logs on July 5th and it’s been days since I my dog has been acting weird scared even. Like she’s been beaten into fear of the door opening. Having my name and time logged for all neighbors to see in the history is great for the guy that’s been watching the college girl down the hall come in late at night. Way to go folks. Let’s fix this so we don’t share private info like my or anyone’s full name and /or email addresses and time they accessed a gate in our development. ### 1/5 — Absolute Junk *2022-11-04, version 4.21.15* I’d give it ZERO STARS if I could. The app never recognizes that the lock is locked, so it sends up a “mechanical issue” message. Meanwhile, the lock is locked — but the app doesn’t know that — so the UNLOCK button is gray and inaccessible. Absolute and complete junk. Get the key that goes with this junk of junk, because — I promise you — the app is going to fail, and you’ll be locked out. ### 3/5 — Awful - Locked Out *2022-10-31, version 4.21.15* This app is terrible. I have been locked out of my apartment twice in two days with no resolution. This is a safety hazard for after hours. This needs to be fixed asap. Updating to a 3. After a few hours of no code or app access, they resolved the issue. I uninstall reinstall and it keeps saying error. It’s useless unless your home to use the wall unit if your using the app it won’t work. Not one device syncs up so leaves my air running or heat running for hours after it says updating or transmitting😡 ### 1/5 — Trashiest American home security app on the market *2024-02-15* Honestly, I don’t know why I’m writing this review beyond warning other businesses to avoid this platform. The security panels my building put in every apartment unit has a camera deep inside, I’d highly suggest putting some electrical tape over it for obvious reasons… beyond that, this app is capable of functioning as a smart home, but ADT doesn’t let the renter add this system to any other smart home systems, such as Google home or Apple HomeKit. SIRI SHORTCUTS WILL NOT WORK, AT ALL. After using this I find it extremely helpful! My utility bill after using the smart thermostat was cut down $25+ last month!! It’s a little slower to respond but it’s a cellular system which i understand it’s important for my property manager to have over Wifi- one of the reasons being security so I’ll take little delay over compromised security. The ability to navigate through all of my properties and control the locks and thermostats remotely has saved me hours of driving time and the peace of mind that the doors have been locked during our busy season.
