Be an electronic Georges Seurat! The Pointillisted app generates pointillist artwork using images from the Photo Library, including those shared in iCloud, similar to the photo mosaic generating app Patched. Generated images can be customized by size and type of point (rectangle, circle, triangle, and hexagon), size adjusted to color, and variance in location. Single colors can be isolated in an image. Save artwork to the Photo Library and share through standard services: copying to the pasteboard, posting to social media sites, and sending via email or SMS. Buy an app that works instead. ### 4/5 — Nice abstract creativity tool *2018-06-11, version 1.3.7* Initially, app was crashing on launch but the dev released an update soon that fixed that. It’s a great tool, best used on the roomier iPad screen, that achieves some crazy pointillism effects. Other photo apps can also do this, but this one has a lot more options. It really needs to have some in-app tool tips or help, or at least some basic tutorial on their website.
