## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not working in Safari

*2026-08-04*

Was really excited to have this in safari cuz I don’t like Chrome.. I can see the tab for Points calendar (though it’s hid behind a paywall), but nothing on any of the flights. It’s like it’s not working.

### 1/5 — Not trustworthy

*2026-04-01*

As others mentioned, it’s not working. You download the extension and it doesn’t do anything until you pay and upgrade it. It tracks your data.

**Developer response:** Hi David. Guess what? Not only do we not track your data, we don't even want your data. Your data, David, is truly uninteresting to us. But we appreciate you making up that accusation without any proof or evidence. You also do not have to pay to use Points Path. That's false as well. But as far as getting the Points Path extension to work, did you make any effort to reach out to us for help before posting this review? We have over 140,000 installed users who have the extension working just fine, so perhaps we could solve your issue if you simply asked.

### 1/5 — This is awful

*2026-02-14*

Will not search even after logging in

**Developer response:** We have over 125,000 users who successfully use our extension across multiple platforms. If you were personally having issues with it, did you think about maybe reaching out to us at mailbox@pointspath.com for help before leaving this review?

### 1/5 — On the App Store but doesn’t work with Safari

*2025-06-29*

Edit: This review is the exact message that was received. Instead of telling you it was untrue, they should say “we’ve now updated to support Safari.” I don’t trust a developer who would respond the way they have.

Original: AFTER you go through installing snd signing up, THEN they tell you “We don't support Apple Safari yet. Please open Chrome on your computer.” Not a good look - this should be removed from the Apple Store until it’s ready for Apple devices, period.

**Developer response:** Edit: Hi Michael. Appreciate your update. However, as we clearly stated, the extension has always worked in Safari as long as it's been published. All you had to do after installing was to start searching with Google Flights, and it would have worked. Question — did you attempt to reach out to our team for assistance at any point if you were having issues, as other reviewers here have noted they did successfully? Thanks!

Original: Hello! To clarify, this review is incorrect: the Points Path extension does work in Safari, and we’ve already had hundreds of Mac users successfully using Points Path on Safari without issue.

The confusion on this point may have been caused by an outdated notice during our onboarding process, which has since been updated. However, that notice was purely informational, and the extension has always functioned properly in Safari when you install it and search with Google Flights.

If a setup issue or other error led to the extension not functioning for you as expected, we'd be happy to help. We'd suggest you give it another try, and if you still have issues, feel free to reach out to our support team by email, and we'll assist in getting it working for you. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Ready for prime time?

*2025-06-28*

I had been using Points Path with Chrome (reluctantly) when I received an email that it is available for Safari. (If, as I understand from earlier reviews, the Safari plugin was available on the App Store before it was ready, I, too, would have been upset.) I had difficulties with Apple Pay confirmation on installation, which, it turned out, were a problem with my system, not the plugin. I was pleased with how quickly the developer responded with a willingness to troubleshoot my problem. Now that it’s working, I an very happy to be using this valuable tool in my browser of choice.

### 5/5 — Easy Award Flight Search

*2026-04-18*

I’ve been using the paid version of Points Path for over a year. It’s great to be able to search for Award Flights directly within Google Flights using MacOS Safari. It’s always improving with new features and airline coverage. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Travel awards search

*2026-04-15*

I’ve been using Points Path for over a year with a paid subscription. With the latest integration with Safari iOS it’s so easy to compare Google flights and related award availability and points/miles options. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Worth setting up!

*2025-12-16*

Points Path makes it easy to see whether to use points or cash to book a flight!

### 5/5 — It works now in Safari

*2025-06-27*

It actually works fine in Safari with this extension. Just like in Chrome with their plugin. No issues at all, even in Tahoe Beta.
