Amazing. The routes need some work. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2022-01-01* The UI is great. Counts points well. Only issues are reading train stations and that I’m unable to view the editors to fix any errors. One issue I am seeing is not distinguishing between versions of the game. When playing standard game, no expansion, it is scoring as if playing Mega Game from 1910 expansion. Incredible app. JUST REMEMBER TO SAVE A PHOTO. Feature request: add a game history to the app where I can pull up previous games. I lost the first game we played because I assumed the app would store them and I could retrieve them later, sad to know it’s lost forever. ### 4/5 — Great idea, almost great execution *2020-12-25* I was amazed at the concept this app developer used to count the trains. However it did not quite get the correct score, and when I tried to edit the individual routes, the names of the routes were blank making it impossible. Just a few bugs to fix and this would be a great app! ### 5/5 — I gave up on an earlier version, but it’s fixed now! *2020-12-24* I downloaded the app a few years ago and it didn’t count the routes perfectly each time, so I gave up on the app. But I decided to try it again tonight and it got everything right. Need the rails and sails board compatibility soon!! ### 4/5 — Needs options to turn off expansion pack bonus points *2020-08-15* We used this to calculate scores, and it did a nice job, but it added 15 points for a Globetrotter bonus that doesn’t exist on the original game. To bad as this used to work ### 1/5 — Didn’t work *2021-05-15* While it appeared to scan the board correctly it did not properly scan the goal cards that the players had (it said I had Boston to Miami card and didn’t complete it - but I didn’t have the card at all) and it incorrectly calculated the longest route. We calculated it the old way instead. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-02-01* 1910 Expansion, mega variant.. app couldn’t calculate completed tickets correctly. Useless. ### 1/5 — When it’s wrong, it’s useless. *2020-08-29, version 1.7* Scanning the board and cards takes a few minutes. It’s much faster than counting everything by hand, but if it’s wrong, the app just wasted time and you still have to count out by hand. Just used it and some black trains in one of black’s most important route got counted as green trains, so the app though black missed all her routes and green played more trains than is actually possible. It also miscalculated longest route but we couldn’t see what route it got wrong and missed. A game that we scored by hand as 94/115/114, the app reported as 91/150/negative score or zero or something. It had the right winner, but seemingly by pure coincidence. ### 2/5 — Unable to count double tracks *2024-04-14* This was easy to use, however we had a 4 player game and the app was not able to handle when there are double tracks between cities. ### 2/5 — Wonderful idea... if it worked :( *2020-01-22* I was so excited to see this and downloaded straight away. Unfortunately after trying with multiple games, it simply reads “stand in front of board at 45 degree angle” and nothing more. Will gladly re-review and re-rate if it starts to work! ### 2/5 — All 5 Star Reviews? *2019-08-03* I tried multiple times at multiple angles and the scoring was all over the place, really not much consistent. Great idea, I had high hopes, but cannot rely on it. ### 3/5 — Love the concept *2024-01-15* Love the concept and it has worked flawlessly in the past, but just tonight noticed an incorrect scan of a route card. Tried it multiple times and still fails. In this particular instance, I was trying to scan “San Francisco to Atlanta” (17 pts) but it always scanned as “Los Angeles to Oklahoma City” (9 pts). Tried multiple times, same result. I’ve suggested this apps to friend and now I’m embarrassed to tell them that it doesn’t always work, sorry. ### 3/5 — Might work *2022-01-29* Not compatibles with 10th Anniversary or 15th Anniversary ### 4/5 — Trouble recognizing black train cars. *2022-07-14* This is a fantastic app that does a great job of scoring through the iPhone camera, but it does seem to have trouble accurately scoring the black train cars. I was getting negative points for incomplete tickets, so as a test I replaced all the cars with blue pieces and used the app again, after which it scored correctly. It also occasionally reads printed route colors as train cars, but this happens less often and can be ignored. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great *2024-11-17* Works great. My only comment is that on newer printings of Ticket to Ride, the game tokens have been made translucent. Counting the little trains is so frustrating! ### 5/5 — Saves so much time! *2023-03-25* This is a great app for counting scores at the end of the game. Very easy to use! It mostly gets things correct, you just have to quickly double check the routes registered correctly. But more often than not, they are fine. The manual interface is easy to use so you can correct anything that looks off. Only shortcomings I’ve run into so far is that they don’t have the Asia map. Hopefully they add it at some point. ### 5/5 — Magic! *2022-12-04* Fantastic app. Really well made. No ads but gives you a chance to contribute. However, it has trouble with the clear purple train cars that were promotional giveaways at some point. It makes a mistake or two here and there that might be manually corrected but the correction screen has a problem. The switches to turn routes on and off are there but the names of the routes themselves are not… makes it kinda hard to figure out which ones to turn on or off.
