## What is PointSolutions?

The PointSolutions polling app (formerly TurningPoint) allows you to use your web-enabled device to respond to questions in real time and self-paced modes. PointSolutions is proven to increase retention and engage learners while allowing instructors to collect data to ensure comprehension.

A variety of subscription options are available.

FEATURES & FUNCTIONS:

• Questions and response options are displayed on your device when polling is opened so that you can answer in real time or at your own pace during self-paced assessments.

• Screen displays group responses, user response and indicates correct answer when polling is closed

• Multiple choice, multiple response, hotspot, numeric response, true/false and short answer, open-ended question types available

• Respond to attendance prompts

• View courses you're enrolled in and track grade data

• Ability to send messages to communicate questions or concerns to the presenter

• Navigate through self-paced assessments in various ways: swiping, navigation carousel, question list view

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Words can’t describe how much I hate this app because every once in a while it logs me out and when I ask for it to  reset my password it doesn’t send me an email for whatever reason and the cause of that i have to spend 10 minutes trying to find out what the problem is but the problem is that I have a graded participation grade for using it and because of the apps inability to make any sense I received 0%s on multiple different occasions because the software doesn’t do what it is supposed to do

I recently downloaded this app for class, My teacher, for some odd reason said never open it after class. I listened until one day I accidentally opened the app whilst taking a walk with my dog. Suddenly a demonic beast leapt from my phone, ate my dog, and ran away. This app is getting uninstalled.

Cannot sign into my account on the app, getting a continual error about not being connected to the internet despite being clearly connected. I paid for this service, and I expect it to work. Do not waste your money, and stick with a service that will not leave you or your students behind in class
