Core game mechanics: Each player has a character or avatar that represents them in the game. When a player attacks an opponent, they deal damage to that opponent's character, reducing their health. Players must also be prepared to defend their own characters from attacks by finding words as quickly as possible and also highest scoring words. In addition, they can strategically place their letter tiles to create words that are difficult for their opponents to attack. As the game progresses, the tiles and the possibilities to find different words increase.
