Another is whenever I battle with master league I find people with Pokemon that are over 4500 cp and get demolished even when mine are in the 3000s. You can’t trade with friends if they aren’t close to you unless you get best friend’s status with that friend. Also ultra balls don’t act like ultra balls, they don’t make it much easier to catch a Pokemon. A lot of the time during raids I will only get 10 premier balls to catch the raid boss, when it’s a legendary, it makes it very hard to catch it in 10 throws, especially if you miss. Those are most of the problems with this game. I have lots of Darkrai and Deoxys that I do not need but you make the only tradeable Mythical Meltan/Melmetal which isn’t even a true Mythical. I understand not trading pokemon like Celebi, Mew or Jirachi but what am I supposed to do with my 15 Deoxys or Darkrai? Side note, I noticed you changed how long it takes to hit all the type bubbles in PvP when you go to release your Charged Attack and not a fan of it but will try to get used to it. ### 2/5 — Changes messing up game play *2026-08-26, version 0.425.1* I’ve been playing since 2016. It’s been great fun. But lately the new owners have been making frequent changes that are annoying or confusing. For example changing how you get information about a Pokémon you caught without changing the FAQ to match the new system. And not answering bug reports. This move fast and break things approach turns play into work. I suggest waiting until the new owners have settled down and stopped continually modifying game play mechanics. Or plan to spend a lot of time on the Reddit Pokemon Go feeds and similar online communities. If I didn’t have friends who played I would probably quit. ### 3/5 — I really want Cosmo, but it’s fine for now. I’m bewildered by how many shinies I have come across, with normal, mythical, and special event Pokémon. I would really like it if they had an Alolan stone, so we could give Pikachu and Cubone the option to evolve into either of their variant evolutions. I’m also hoping that the Paldean Tauros variants will be available soon, and not too hard to come by. I’m hoping for more regional evolution stones so we don’t have to wait for events to get specific evolutions. I really hate how gigantimax Pokémon are only available in raids. What’s the point in raising this dynamax Pokémon from first evolution, if it can’t even get the chance for its gigantimax form? Really discourages raising Pokémon and encourages just getting the final gigantimax form. Costumes for Pokémon should be optional. That way 50 Pikachu don’t take up my Pokémon storage. Also these costumes need to give Alolan Raichu more love. ### 3/5 — It could be better *2026-08-25, version 0.425.1* I love, love Pokemon. HOWEVER! I remember why I stopped playing this. Using 5+ balls along with berries to catch a Pokemon that isn’t even over 1000 CP is so wasteful and makes me annoyed. As well as using a raid pass, beating the Pokemon only to have it run away while catching or it just won’t stay in the ball. What is the point!? It really sucks if you live in a town with like 3 gyms right on top of each other and some people decide no one else is allowed to play. When they were decreased back in July (only had 2 total) they increased to a nice amount. 8 or more depending where we are at around the house. And our local pokestops and gyms have more spawns too. Hopefully Scopely can make better adjustments in the future for everyone.
