I am on edge constantly because I am afraid that I will encounter a bug. It ruins the experience. On the other hand it is a great app for what it is trying to accomplish. Easy to learn & play, and the updates recently have been top notch with the new features. Zero in app purchases which makes me super happy. Easy to make decks and practice out different stuff. The game constantly crashes out on IOS, the windows version can’t even past the loading screen either. Even when it does give me a crash free 10 minute of gameplay, I will often get hit with some kind of soft lock time out in a battle. LITTERALLY AN UNPLAYABLE MESS. Updated graphics might look good, and they might make game appear better, but if there’s no one online there is no point. I downloaded this after my youngest expressed an interest in learning the game. Being stuck in an endless “Game Matching” loop and only the learning mode working means the game is a pointless download. Get real cards and find a club to join. Trade. I’ve had several games lately where the game threw me out of a match. I was just about to win a match but and right before I attacked the game froze and wouldn’t let me do anything. The time ran out and just stayed like that. I played prebuilt decks and learned a lot. Eventually I was able to build my own decks. TCG pocket’s “good” cards are absolute trash in gameplay. 120 health for an ex, I don’t think so. But TCG live is the best ever digital card game. I have had it for over 4 years, and it just keeps getting better. I have one problem with the pc version, it is so hard to drag damage counters onto your opponent’s benched Pokemon without a mouse. And mice are so expensive. I just decided to redeem them on this game. Lo and behold after everything I not only got amazing hits but also got to use the cards for what it is intended for.
