There isn’t many series, and the episodes release very slowly for them. For example, Pokémon journeys released about 2 years ago I think. But on the app not all of the episodes are on there still. And Pokémon master journeys isn’t even on there. I just don’t like how I have to wait months for new episodes to come out. You might as well just go on Netflix. The point of this app is to watch Pokémon episodes on the go and anytime you want for free, right? So why does it get to the point that I would rather pay for Netflix so I can actually enjoy a full series of my fav Pokémon series? I’m just saying it would probably be worth more if maybe we could get more series, and more importantly, get more episodes at a time. At least every 2 weeks. I haven’t had much issues until now. Recently I’ve been wanting to catch up on some episodes and everyday I open the app, it’s been requiring me to login every single time. It’s a bit annoying having to log in every time I open it. Another thing I noticed was when I was watching the Generations and Origins shorts, I’ve been getting a 30 second pop up preview of the next episode that I cannot close out. This needs to be fixed, there should be a way to minimize that preview. I still would like to finish watching my current video without having half of it blocked. Lastly, every single other app I have tilts my screen to the left when I maximize the screen. Yet this app forces my screen to turn right... I could get used to it but I would like there to be extra settings where I can change my default rotate settings, not having the 30 second mandatory preview, and keeping me signed in until I choose to logout. ### 4/5 — I love it but… *2021-08-04, version 4.1.1* I am a huge Pokémon fan and I am sooooooo Thankful for having this app but you don’t have many shows like yeah that shows that you can’t see or that are hard to find but it’s there or show star easy to find like in other places like on Netflix and some of the shows like Pokémon galactic battle where it starts you I believe in like the middle of the show like the first episode already has ash having more than three Pokémon and we don’t get to see how he finds them but I do like it and if you like Pokémon I definitely recommend this app also there are like special shows they could watch that don’t star ash. but yes there are tons of shows to watch just another lot for like a Pokémon show app that you see shows but it does it definitely has shows that I have never seen before so thank you have a made this app.I love it ### 4/5 — I LOVE IT But… *2021-07-15, version 4.1* Ok yes I love Pokémon so so much but this app is not the best cus they don’t have all the seasons of the series like they made some go away to bring more in and like they got rid of gold and silver and then got it back but got rid of diamond and Pearl and then then they don’t have all of diamond and pearl like come on! But thats just my review here is just some advice for Pokémon the creators and stuff ok so I think that on the behalf of some girls and boys that love Pokémon and watched XY that Serena needs a comeback she need to be seen once more and maybe have her stick around maybe like she could like ash could be going to a Pokémon performance and spot her on the stage and Serena spots him back and that ruins her performance and now video games once and if you make a new XY game make a option to be a Pokémon performer and try to be Kalos queen and make it like sword and shield not stubby ones and maybe make the queen Serena the queen you have to fight in the end and just bring her back is the message I’m trying to send and if you ever read this you don’t need to take it and use it all people want is Serena make her stick around or don’t but the video game advice don’t make them stubs and maybe make a choice to be kalos queen in the start cuz if you listened to it I think it would be big idk but maybe it would thank you for reading if you do but I think it would be good to keep it going on for longer if you brought her back. ### 4/5 — It’s alright *2021-06-06, version 4.1* I’m not exactly sure why there’s a rotation cycle, maybe it’s some industry thing and they can’t put all of them at once is my guess. But overall, I think it’s pretty good. I would like to have one movie at least each time everything rotates, but that’s just a suggestion. For someone who wants to watch all the seasons in order the rotation might be annoying, and if you don’t have much storage space on your phone it might be difficult to download a lot of episodes for offline watching, but there’s not much the developers can do about that. The main thing is probably the rotation, and I’m sure many of us would like to know why we can’t have all of the seasons at once. I really would like it if you put all of the seasons in at once, because I really don’t like it that you have to wait at least a week for new episodes and seasons to come out. This app should have every Pokémon season and now there is just Pokémon sun and moon seasons 1 2 and 3 but where is the 4th season also why would they take out Pokémon black and white and Diamond and pearl seasons two also why take out Pokémon XY seasons then they add one season of gold and silver and now one the most loved series Pokémon the beginning now there is only two seasons. Here is a tip Pokemon if add just a season of something add all the seasons people watch one season and there more seasons that they need to watch more about the series to make sense for the next series. I like how it’s great quality and you can download the episodes if you want too! Please add season 19 XYZ and add all seasons of XY, not just two of them. But, I have a question about seasons that you can watch on the app? Is there a rotation for how many shows you can watch or can you only watch the certain seasons of Pokémon that are on the app right now? I’m almost done with XY season 18 and there’s no season 19 on the app. So I was wondering if I will be able to watch it anytime soon! Other than the fact that you can’t watch all the seasons, it’s a really great app! Definitely, deserves a 5 star review!!!! ### 5/5 — Amazing but I have a little issue *2020-07-14, version 3.4* I do like how they rotate it it gives you a enough time to watch the whole season before moving to the next one. However, I don’t like that the first volume comes out of the new season but then you have to wait a whole month for the next volume comes out. The next little issue I have is that in twilight wings a episode only comes out a month. I do like how they put the first episode of Pokémon journeys ,but I do hope they add the rest of the episodes soon. Even with those little issues the app is really great with the ability to download episodes so you can download it when you are going somewhere with out internet. Even the settings is not used that much I like how they have it where it’s really easy to get to. This app may have a few issues but it really is a amazing app. ### 4/5 — Great with issues *2020-07-06, version 3.4* So, I’ve been using this for about a week, and I’ve already noticed a few thing you should change. First, the rotations. I’m trying to watch the episodes in order, but I can’t watch it ever because my family hates it so I need to watch... *drumroll* 40 EPISODES! By the 10th! How in the world will I do that?! That brings me to my next issue. Every other day, it won’t work on my tv. It says that something has changed in my account and that I need to log back in. Now, before you go all like “oh idiot you logged in wrong, duh” I did this just fine on my iPad. I even checked my log-in to see if I typed it in right, but it says a log-in error has occurred. Aside from these issues, I’d say it’s great that I can even watch a few episodes of a series that I love. Thank you for your time, Pokémon company, and please consider what I am saying. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Needs some work. *2021-05-30, version 4.1* The app is missing some common video app features. There is no way to know what you have watched. There is a continue watching thumbnail but it never updates. It shows the first episode I ever watched and has never changed. Your current progress is not kept if you stop watching in the middle of an episode. I noticed one episode did have what appeared as a progress bar. However, after tapping the video to continue the episode started over. I would also suggest adding an auto play feature that starts the next episode. Every time an episode ends I have to remember the title that I last watched so when I come back I can continue watching a new episode. It might have been a few days since watching and I have to hunt down through episodes tapping and watching a little then moving forward till I find a new episode. Also skip intro button would be nice. Yes I understand this app is free so I shouldn’t complain. These are merely suggestions not an angry app user on a rant. ### 3/5 — Gray and blocky,needs a slight update *2023-07-12* Sometimes,when I watch one of the episodes of Pokémon,the screen turns blocky and gray and moves along in waves,I have no idea why this is happening and it doesn’t seem to happen on my other apps,so I know it isn’t a problem with my phone,I don’t want to criticize you or sound like Im being rude or anything but do you think you could please fix it? Another thing,I know that having ALL the Pokémon content would be a lot but I hate having to wait an entire month or even longer just to watch a certain show,I get that I can download other streaming services for it but,I think you would get way more enjoyment,business,and not to mention reviews if you include more content,considering the amount of business you lose if people download other streaming services it would be a bit wiser to include all or most of the shows,if you do,it would be easier to include a search system so people can watch what they want without feeling overwhelmed,such as if they want to watch Pokémon XYZ,all they have to do is look it up and find the series they want to watch All in all,this is a great app,please don’t feel like Im criticizing your work,it’s just this app is in need of a little update,either way thank you for reading!Again,please don’t feel like I am criticizing I LOVE the app❤️❤️❤️ ### 3/5 — I little upsetting… *2022-11-27, version 4.4* Okay I love Pokémon as the next person BUT you guys in the description that you can watch ALL the Pokémon movies and shows! But all you can watch ( currently) All of Sun and moon Season two orange island Season ten of diamond and pearl Season 1 of journeys The things that I hope you can include are The movies More shows Update this more often And not have it glitch so much. But I am very mad because I already watched Diamond and Pearl and journeys because journeys you can watch on Netflix and diamond pearl are on prime video so I don’t understand what you lieded about having all the Movie and Shows now I am being over dramatic when I say about Netflix and Prime because not ever one has that channel. But I do have to say PUT XYZ and Advanced Gen Why? Because the only other place you can watch these two is Prime and wait for it you have to buy it ### 3/5 — A bit disappointing *2021-07-20, version 4.1* So, this app used to have EVERY season, all the way from The Indigo League, to the newest seasons, and then they dropped 90% of the seasons, as of this writing, they only have the first two, Diamond and Pearl, Battle Dimension, Galactic Battles, all of Sun and Moon, and half of Journeys. Soon Sinnoh Leauge Victors will be added, and then a while later, all of the Diamond and Pearl seasons will be removed, and the first season of Black and White will be added in their place, and the cycle will repeat, when it gets to X and Y. The same thing has happened with the Hoeen and I assume Johto as well, it’s incredibly frustrating, because I was hoping to be able to watch the show without going through DVD’s or paying for streaming services, but someone at the Pokémon company thought differently there. ### 3/5 — One problem *2020-07-11, version 3.4* So I’ve been using this app for a while now and it’s great but I have one big problem with it why can’t they just let you watch any season instead of the rotation thing because sometimes I want to watch a specific season but it’s not on so I sometimes have to wait a long time for the specific season I want to come on so I can watch it. My only other problem is that even if I say download a episode of a season and then that season gets taken out I can’t watch the episode that I downloaded witch really annoys me because I have the episode downloaded on my phone but I can’t watch it. So conclusion can you just take out the rotation and just have every season on it? ### 3/5 — Quality drops sometimes *2020-04-09, version 3.3* I started using this app not too long ago and I like it a lot. But I bumped into a problem that I find kind of annoying. I don’t know if it’s like this for other seasons but I’m currently watching Indigo League and during battle scenes and whatnot where there is a lot of action happening on the screen, the screen starts to pixelate and kind of get fuzzy. It could be just a personal issue but I find it really annoying when it runs smoothly and all of a sudden the quality just drops out of nowhere. But I still really like the app and appreciate it that we have access to these episodes for free. But still can we fix where the screen starts to get fuzzy🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks :) ### 3/5 — Watch somewhere else *2020-01-02, version 3.2* I love the app it is a easy way to watch a lot of Pokemon episodes in one place. But the 2 big issues are new episodes and watching other seasons. If you compare the app to other places you can watch Pokémon episodes it is so slow. If you go on DisneyXD website you will be almost 4 or 5 episodes ahead of the app meaning that they are not even out on the app yet and the episodes are only posted weekly so you have to wait a month to even catch up. If you are trying to watch the newest season it is a great place to watch it as well as some of the very early seasons but you cannot watch any in between. It goes from like seasons 1-9 and skips all the way to 20-22. Just use DisneyXD if you really want to watch Pokémon anime. ### 3/5 — Nice, but needs work *2018-11-14, version 2.2.0* There’s other reviews talking about the lack of available episodes, but I think it’s nice they have a rotation which gives it a feeling of you’re actually watching TV programs. I’m fine with that, but the issues come when trying to watch. Sometimes the episode just doesn’t load and I get an error saying ‘this operation cannot be completed’. Another nitpick is in the last 10-ish seconds of each video it minimizes the video to show the other available episodes. It’s annoying as I’m still trying to watch, and there’s no way to get it back full screen. Overall it’s a nice app, but gets finicky easily. (Funny enough, I used the app years ago when it first came out, and I think it was better put together then.) ### 4/5 — Great app but one thing *2023-03-17* This app is pretty good for entertainment but I wish there was more options then having a random season rotate constantly and only once a month you get to watch a random movie. I mean they do have the older seasons and the newer once’s which is nice but the newer episodes come out then it takes 2 months for the episode to appear on poke tv Which means like all the seasons that have happened already the poke tv is still trying to make its way through masters journey and when I watch one of the rotating seasons like diamond and pearl or something by the time I really get into the show it gets taken off poke tv like what do they expect me do? Wait the day it comes out and sit on the couch and watch 5 episodes a day in order to keep up and idk why they still have sun and moon like a permanent show why can’t they have some of the other ones permanent? I would understand if poke tv is incapable of having that much shows on there but i don’t think it is incapable I would definitely watch poke tv more if they had some of my favorite shows permanent but I guess I just have to hope that the 10% chance it will be next after the current season then im going to have to watch it like everyday to keep up before it gets taken off. Anyway i do like the app but I hope pokemon does fix this ### 4/5 — This app is good but… *2023-01-10, version 4.4* I would like to say that before I say all this I would still definitely recommend this app because it has a bunch of Pokémon that some people haven’t seen, but there’s one HUGE issue. The issue is that they are just the most random seasons. Like if I’m trying to watch Pokémon indigo, right now you can only watch season 2 of indigo. And what about people that haven’t seen season 1. Or people that want to watch the third one. (If there is a third season, I don’t know.) Or if I’m trying to watch all of black and white. You can only watch like season 23 or something. That is why I think this app is good but it has some flaws. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Solid *2023-01-10, version 4.4* It’s a solid show brings back memories from 1 of the first shows I was into when I was a kiddo, back then I wanted to become a Pokémon trainer, I still preferred that over the Simpsonsand family Guy and South park, now as an adult I mostly do still over the Office I also I still watch it sometimes. I enjoy Seinfeld but don’t have a way to watch It often. I can in same court I live in now at house I was raised in. Where I live is mine was bought for me by lawyers in 1 of the two lawsuits I was in to pay off the millions of dollars in medical bills due to the four hospitals I was in 3 in coma fourth a physical therapy hospital I was there when I wasn’t yet in good shape, I went back temporarily when my shape improved they didn’t believe it was me at first. I shortly wasn’t talking or longer walking or eating on my own anymore. Now my life is better. I know how to say a few words in three other languages mostly Ukrainian because my parents are from north western. Then after coma I wanted to learn Spanish then a bit of Italiano lastly a bit of Polish. ### 5/5 — I love this app! *2022-09-08, version 4.3* First off I love how all the new episodes are piled into this app and I love how it switches between older seasons like Pokémon XYZ. And I really like being able to watch the old Pokémon movies and the indigo league because Netflix only contains one season of the indigo league. I personally am a big Pokémon fan and I really appreciate this app. The one thing that bothers me though is that sometimes it will glitch out and the screen will go gray for a while. But of course that might be because of something else so I think this app is just really amazing. Pokemon. But something decent. LY BAD happened. I wanted to watch sun and moon on netflix cuz its there but netflix crashed 😢. My brother told me to get this game and im like: “ok :p” so i download it and it was amazing. I expected ads but NO. I watch the whole entire 8 (or is it 7?) seasons of pokemon sun and moon, the whole time, undisturbed. I know in some apps the developers use robots and write good stuff when their app is TRASH, but literally this is the truth. It lets you watch the Pokémon episodes for free and it works really well but I don’t really like how all the seasons aren’t on here.
