Finally! I constantly had to find several apps for hosting games. This one does it all. Why isn’t this been done before? IDK. But I’ve played a couple home games with Poker Hawk and it went really smooth. I’m really excited to see how far this app goes!

A FEED YOU CAN TALK ON
• Reply to a comment. Replies sit under the comment they answer, so a busy post stays readable.
• Edit or delete your own post, and delete a comment you wrote. An edited post says it was edited.
• Five reactions — Like, Love, Haha, Wow and Fire. Tap for a like, hold for the rest.
• The @ picker works in comments, and mentions show as names.
• A club can pin one post to the top of its feed, so the club rule or the next game date stops scrolling away.

SEASONS AND STANDINGS
• One Standings tab, with seasons first.
• Closing a season fixes the champion in place instead of leaving the table moving.
• Start a season from a window of results you already have.

A SIMPLER BOTTOM BAR
• Discover is gone — it was a "coming soon" page taking a fifth of the bar. Club search does the same job, better, one level down.
• Tourney is in the centre, and Stats is back.

CLUBS THAT BEHAVE
• Only the club owner can be the club owner. Anyone who could manage members could previously grant real ownership in one click.
• A club left with a stray second owner can be repaired in the app.
• Photo posts to a club feed work again.
• You can change how your club describes itself after creating it.
• A role allowed to edit the club can open Club Settings on a phone.
• Save a blind structure preset to your club from your phone.

### 1.27.3 — 2026-08-31

Your clubs now load on their own after an update. They could stay empty on the
first launch until you opened the clubs screen and refreshed a few times.

The "what's new" panels now render properly and match the rest of the app. They
were collapsing to a bare header with the button jammed under the drag handle,
and the slides were missing their icons.

One list of people, and clubs that behave.

Members and Players are now a single tab called People. A club used to keep
two lists of the same people with nothing to say how they related, so
somebody who had joined and also been checked in at the door appeared twice.
Every row now says whether it is a member, a player linked to an account, or
a player with no account.

Joining clubs is unlimited on every plan. The free tier used to cap you at
two, so playing in a third club meant paying — even though joining a club is
not a hosting feature.

Clubs discovery and invites are fixed throughout. Searching by ZIP code works
again. A new club has its invite code straight away, so a private club can be
joined the moment it exists. A mistyped code no longer offers to join you to
somebody else's club. Club discovery stops claiming every club has no
upcoming events, and the "next tournament" line shows a real date.

Roles are safer and clearer. "Owner" is no longer offered when changing
somebody's role — it granted owner-level rights on one unwarned click.
Club Settings shows your real role, and approving or rejecting a join request
explains itself.

Also: club filters remember what you picked, the Near Me distance filter
works reliably, member counts stop drifting below the real roster, the
delete-club screen has a working way out, and an error overlay no longer
appears during normal use and swallows your taps.

Opening a club now shows what changed in clubs as a sheet you can swipe away, and if you have missed several updates you see each one dated and newest first rather than one list where old news looks like today's.

### 1.26.0 — 2026-08-24

This update fixes the Back button on Android, tidies up signing up, and stops one account's data appearing for the next person on a shared phone.

SIGNING UP
• Type your date of birth in one go — it now fills all three boxes instead of dropping what you typed.
• The plans step shows what Pro costs.
• The plan you are on stays marked when you look at the paid plans and come back.
• Reading the Terms no longer costs you a step or your typed name.
• An interrupted signup no longer skips the Founder screen.

YOUR ACCOUNT
• Turn the Poker Hawk newsletter on or off in Settings.
• Signing out now clears everything belonging to your account, so a shared phone never shows your tournament to the next person.
• A tour you skipped is remembered against your account, not the handset.

CLUBS
• Seasons points you at the New season button instead of telling you to use a laptop.
• Correcting a finished tournament's result works on your phone.

FIXES
• Changing your mind at the payment page no longer traps the app or claims a purchase went through.
• "What you're missing" lists what you are actually missing.

### 1.25.0 — 2026-08-20

You can finally see your own support requests inside the app. Everything else is a season of tournament-floor work: a chop that used to delete a place it never paid for, tables that now say how many chairs need clearing, and text you can actually read.

YOUR REQUESTS, IN THE APP

• Help and Feedback now has My Requests — everything you have sent us, whether a bug report, a feature request or a question, with the status of each one.
• Open any of them to read the whole conversation, including what you originally wrote, and answer us back without leaving the app.
• Unread replies are marked, so you can see at a glance that we have got back to you.

PRIZE MONEY

• A chop no longer removes a place the deal did not pay for. Two players splitting only their own two places used to delete third place from the prize ladder, and with it money a busted player was still owed. Third place now stands at its own amount.
• Whether a settlement removes a place or leaves one standing, the app says which place and why — on a mid-tournament chop and at the end of the night alike.
• The Apply bubble button now explains itself instead of doing nothing, and refuses a bubble larger than the whole pot.
• Prize Controls tells you when your role cannot change the payouts, rather than pointing you at a switch that is greyed out.
• The app now records what each player actually paid — buy-in, membership fee, rebuys, add-on — and not just what they owe. Check-in is where you say somebody has not paid yet.

TABLES AND SEATS

• A table that reads 8/9 now tells you when one of those chairs is held by a player who is out and needs clearing.
• Removing a table says how many players it can actually move and how many chairs it is simply freeing, before you commit to anything. Every step of it names the table.
• Balance Tables counts the players waiting for a seat, not only the ones sitting down.

RUNNING THE NIGHT

• Change the rebuy cap and the rebuy cutoff after the tournament has started. Until now both could only be set before you launched.
• Changing the level being played asks first, and says exactly what is about to move on every screen in the room.
• Loading a saved blind template asks before it replaces your schedule, and says how many levels are about to land.
• Assigning a dealer asks again before it stands somebody up.
• Applying an add-on or a re-entry no longer reports a failure over a player whose chips were already given.
• Opening a second live tournament now actually opens that one.

CHECK-IN

• The check-in list stops telling a player to try a different name when they have not typed one. At a club's first event there is nothing to list, and it now says so.
• Someone the host added at the door tonight can find their own name on the list instead of being told there are no matches.
• A player who has checked in but not bought in is no longer counted as playing. They have their own label and their own filter.

YOUR TELEVISIONS

• The Displays list labels each screen connected or offline instead of relying on the colour of a dot, and it holds still while you read it.
• A television that has gone dark is reported offline instead of reading "Just now" all night.
• A screen running an app too old to identify itself is marked Not reporting, with an explanation, rather than just looking quiet.
• The red button on a display now reads Mark offline, which is what it has always done.
• Managing displays, and the join code that pairs new screens, needs the Manage Displays permission on the phone as it already did on a computer. Seeing the list does not.

### 1.23.0 — 2026-08-13

This update brings tournament setup on your phone up to what the desktop app can do, makes host notes private, and fixes a scheduled tournament's start time so it means the same thing on every device.

HOST NOTES ARE PRIVATE
The notes box on Review & Launch has always called itself private notes for you and your staff. But anyone who opened that tournament from the club calendar and tapped Details could read them under a Host Notes heading. They are now shown only to you and to the club staff who can edit the tournament, with a line under the box saying so. Nothing you had already written was changed or lost.

SETUP CATCHES UP WITH DESKTOP
• Guest players: you can now decide whether people may check in without a Poker Hawk account. That switch did not exist on a phone, so every tournament created on one allowed guests and its host could not change it. Existing tournaments keep allowing guests.
• Paid places now go up to 100 instead of 10, so a bigger prize structure built on desktop is no longer quietly cut down when you edit it on your phone.
• You can cap how many times one player may re-enter, and close the rebuy window after a level or after a break.
• A freeze-out no longer carries hidden rebuy and add-on stacks nobody chose, which could offer a rebuy to a player still sitting at the table.
• Auto-cancel can no longer be switched on when you have set no minimum player count — it could never have fired.
• A level with no blinds at all now has to be fixed before you can continue, schedule or start, instead of reaching game night unplayable.

START TIMES
A scheduled tournament is now read against its own time zone rather than your phone's, so a 7pm game reads 7pm wherever you open it. The countdown, the day badge, the date header and the order of your upcoming list are all fixed with it. Rescheduling moves the event, not the room: a 7pm game in New York stays a 7pm game in New York even if you are in Denver when you move it, and the Reschedule panel now spells out the time it is about to save.

WHEN SOMETHING WILL NOT WORK, THE APP SAYS SO
• The summary after a practice tournament no longer sits on Loading forever, and any summary that genuinely cannot load now says so and offers a way back.
• Tournament is too big for this plan now offers See plans, and tells you that lowering the table count in Edit setup is the other way out.
• Starting a scheduled tournament no longer runs a bounty your plan does not include.
• Two staff approving the same rebuy at the same moment can no longer charge a player twice.
• Saving a tournament someone else has changed, or deleted, now stops and explains instead of overwriting their work or recreating the event.
• Scheduling the same tournament twice no longer puts it on the calendar twice with two different join codes.

TYPING
Every panel that slides up from the bottom now clears the keyboard — the comment box on a club post, editing a blind level, renaming a player, adding notes or a bounty, setting stacks, club settings, and the check-in kiosk lookup. Editing a payout deep in the prize ladder and the Bio field on Customise profile now scroll into view instead of hiding behind it.

PLANS
The top plan is now called Elite. This is a name change only — your subscription, price and features are unchanged, and store receipts still show the original plan identifier. Paid plan buttons now show the free trial the stores have been granting all along, and read its length from the store so they cannot promise something it will not honour. The signup screen no longer claims a trial that does not apply to purchases made in the app.

• The club welcome message no longer greets you for every club every time you open the app.
• View tournament on the Up next card opens the tournament instead of your club.
• Settings has a new switch for tournament result emails, and the weekly digest is now the Monday roll-up.
