I love the look of everything and the explanations. I wish there were other poker games than just Texas Hold’em like Black Jack maybe. ### 2/5 — Nice UI but All Bots *2026-03-26* The user interface is pretty nice, WAY better than WSOP. It’s a decent app if you’re a very beginner or SUPER casual poker player but beware it seems like it’s 98% bots/computer “players.” There are maybe 10-15 usernames you will see all the time. The strategy and playing style they use is pretty similar and predictable after a while. You will get statistically improbable hands A LOT and you’ll win more than you would in a real game. So are you really learning? ### 2/5 — Could be much better! *2026-03-09* Just started to use this I've tried to play three tournaments. The first two were a little slow and glitchy but not terrible and I did like the insights! However! At the end of my third tournament when I have more than 30,000 chips and I'm heads up with the last person who has like 4000 chips that game completely blanked out! And I mean it froze and then the whole app blanked out. It's a white screen now that is a serious problem with the app! This is the second time I'm trying to put in the review because it doesn't even have a button to submit the review. ### 3/5 — Poker power *2026-02-08* The app glitches frequently while in the middle of a hand. I thought it was an issue with my phone but I ended up downloading on my iPad as well and received the same experience. I joined when it first started & it was fine then, but every update gets worse. To illustrate, I’ve been playing a game for 40 minutes & the app decided to just not work anymore. It froze, & I’ve done dozens of hard closes & resets, deleted the app & redownloaded, & every time I open it I just get a white screen. I was in the lead until all this happened. This has happened several times. It’s very hard to take this seriously as a skill learning tool when it’s so unreliable. Updated May 2026: the developer responded & said they’ve fixed the issue but they did not. And the new update is even worse. It’s less intuitive than every other version, constantly freezes or doesn’t register your moves, even though the selection you made responds on the click. I just won over 31k in one hand & the app froze & kicked me out of the game. I am so done. Anytime I try and use this app, after a certain amount of time it completely glitches and causes my phone and even apps in the background to crash. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app, restarted my phone and it makes no difference. There’s something wrong with the app on their end. ### 1/5 — Unrealistic *2025-07-13, version 0.9.9* The UX/UI is the only thing good about this app. The entire game is unrealistic. In a real game you can read the table early/ after you fold. When you arent allowed to read the table you can even get better at judging your decisions. There’s no “learning” element. On newest version of app ### 1/5 — Part of The Idea *2025-05-14* I like part of the idea, learning poker and learning how it can correlate to business and life skills. The fact that it is targeted towards women is absolutely annoying and off-putting. Poker is a game anyone can play, just because more men do play doesn’t mean women cannot. You’re literally doing the opposite, it’s discrimination by exclusion. Take the concept of learning poker while gaining real life skills and make it inclusive to everyone. ### 1/5 — Was at 4 stars before update *2025-02-19* The newest update deleted my original account. I used the same email as before to create a new account with a different user name because the system said my original name was taken, yet it let me use the email on that account to make this new account. Jenny Just is absolutely right that women have historically been left out of places where major decisions are made, like the boardroom, the golf course, and the poker table. In her TED Talk, she outlines this issue and her mission to teach one million women how to play poker. With this app and Poker Power's live events, that vision is becoming a reality. I wish this app existed 20 years ago when I was searching for books on how to play Texas Hold’em while quietly learning as a new mother and business owner. Now, with Poker Power, I’ve not only been able to play with my girlfriends who had never played before, but we can meet virtually on the app, play against each other, and catch up on life while having a blast! I’m not a big gamer, so this has become the perfect “game” for us. For those who already play poker, this app is a great tool to keep your skills sharp. I like to play poker tournaments, and Poker Power helps me stay fresh and practice my strategy. What’s even more impressive is that my friends learned for free using the app, and we’ve been playing for years without spending a dime. The app’s virtual classes, which I did pay for, were worth every penny. The instructors are real poker pros and successful businesswomen who love the game and want to help others succeed. Poker Power even hosted a live event during LA Tech Week in Los Angeles, which was so much fun! Some of us were experienced players, while others were just learning, but the event brought us all together.
