There’s a real sense of ‘just one more game’ which keeps it entertaining. I watch the ads when they pop up which is fine, but for the last three days the ads happen after EVERY game, and what’s worse is that there is no way to get past the ads…they freeze up and I have to exit the game and restart it, everytime!!! Deleting the app because of this. ### 2/5 — Pay to win *2026-05-25, version 1.5.7* Defense cards are never drawn from your deck when playing the AI. Thats super LAME. And after you complete the 1st region of the map, forget it: the strength of emenies in the next story region basically requires a HUGE amount of luck or paying for resources to level up. 1st region was a fun challenge. After that, this is clearly a pay-to-win game. ### 4/5 — Good Game however…. *2024-06-16, version 1.5.3* This is a good game to play, however….. it is more of a pay to play as you level up. The amount of gold required vs what you get in return is ridiculously stupid. You have to pay like 10 gold for one bullet to increase your bullet stash. If your patient you can watch a video every 12 hrs and get 2 bars of gold so after about 36 hrs you too could be the proud owner of 1 bullet! Some levels your just not going to beat unless you play 20-30 bars of gold and that even if you good hands. Over all it’s a good game with a good concept. ### 2/5 — A fun game limited by waiting on the clock *2020-12-13, version 1.4.2* It’s a fun concept and an amusing game but it is ruined by having to constantly wait for resources that are necessary to play. I literally spend 4 hours not playing the game for 30 minutes of getting to participate. It’s slowly killing itself and at some point the tediousness will out way the fun and it’ll be deleted. ### 4/5 — Update needed *2020-10-10, version 1.3.2* It’s a fun game, but since having to update the iPhone to the latest iOS version, the game doesn’t work. I hope the developers are working on an update so people that updated their phones can continue to play the game. ### 2/5 — Seductively a pay-to-play game *2020-09-17, version 1.3.2* I was enjoying playing this game through the first two stages of the story missions, I even paid a few dollars to gain resources, and do upgrades, but then I noticed that there was a significant change in the odds of landing winning point hands. So I started capturing every card played and hands for a little more than three hundred hands. Guess what, the more you advance in the story missions, the more videos you have to watch or the more you have to buy. Why? Because your statistically going to have high card and pair hands after the first ten milestones of the third stage or area. Also your hit points and health will be about 1/3 of the AI opponent and your bullet count unless purchased up will not be enough to complete the stage without purchases or watching a hundred add videos. My suggestion find a fair poker game, not this one. I emailed support and they swear they have a random card generator, but facts are facts and the patterns are there. ### 4/5 — Relaxing *2020-09-06, version 1.3.0* It’s a great game to play while relaxing, however it could use a little more like more challenges for rewards and maybe more tournaments like the timed one you just had, other than that it’s a chilled relaxing game ### 4/5 — Great game! *2020-08-30, version 1.2.0* This game is a really nice change of pace from all the clones out there. I’ve been playing since the release and have been making steady progress. The ability to increase the number of bullets was a nice upgrade. I’m not really sure what the point of the PvP is. It’s not like you get anything for competing. The cost of upgrading totems feels high given how little you really get per win. The one thing that would be a nice change would be to move the All In “button”. It should be with the 3 and 6 bullet bet buttons when it becomes applicable. Down next to the bullet counter you just don’t see it... Keep up the great work. I look forward to playing every day. ### 3/5 — fun BUT, *2020-08-14, version 1.2.0* This game is very enjoyable to play. I find myself coming back to it quite often. I like the artwork as well. Advice for the developers: I would like to see more rewards for climbing in multiplayer..not much incentive. More content would be awesome I would spend more time in it if there was something to do. We need to get more bang for our buck. It’s not worth it to pay real money to advance, get chests or whatever. I understand developers need money to make a game better. This is how I’ve seen other good games become great games. ### 4/5 — Addicted but.. *2020-07-26, version 1.2.0* I love this game and play it regularly. To me it’s worth it to pay to eliminate the ads that continually pop up. The one big issue I have is my progress in the game doesn’t transfer exactly between my phone and iPad. For instance I earned the rare wolf totem in my phone and spent the coins to upgrade the it. When I logged onto my iPad that wolf totem did not transfer. So now I have to wait till I get that last piece again. Otherwise it’s a fun game if you love poker. ### 5/5 — Awesome. *2020-07-25, version 1.2.0* Love this game. A hair confusing at first but after a few matches it will make sense. Fun little game to play in short spurts. Ads also aren’t too bad, and the IAP to remove them is reasonably priced. PVP could be improved. That’s a great thing actually, as it isn’t like any other game I’ve played at least. This is fun, pick up and play, kill some time and some bad guys??? After the first few games I got a feel for it and figured out how most of the mechanics work and this game came into its own. It is well worth the download and it will be in my front page of games for a long time. The games difficultly ramps up way to fast. Clearing the second level was ridiculously difficult if not for very lucky cards I couldn’t have beaten the boss. I don’t feel like my strength is scaling any where near as quickly as the enemies are. ### 5/5 — 5 Star from Me *2020-07-18, version 1.1.13* I thoroughly enjoy this game and i cannot waits for the release of new content. It is a nice mix up of poker hands and strategy according to your power and health. You do not need to pay for play at all. Just dedicate some time each day. I’m never deleting this game, and would gladly pay you guys once in a while for random chests, herbs, whatnot. It’s extremely entertaining, and it’s poker. You don’t need to invest a lot of thought, and even though the gameplay is a bit different than standard play, it’s easy to understand, pick up, and create your own style of strategy. (She’s ready time go, I better hurry) One thing I noticed though, is that when you challenge a human player moseying around your town, you used to just be able to win gems or herbs. This morning I saw a ribbon of sorts? I didn’t see any tutorial on that, nor know what it is for? What’s it for? May I suggest some sort of option to see what that is, or have something tell us, say by, tapping on it? I had kind of stopped challenging real people as the reward was something I was easily obtaining anyways. (She’s jingling the keys now, she wants me to drive, typing faster!) The animation of the characters in game is gorgeous, love the side challenges for bonus money, and the totem pole is genius. Really, who could ask for a better game? Whatever coffee, bourbon, or pizza you folks consumed to think of this game, pass that recipe on to all other app makers. You’ve appeased to me, and hundreds and hundreds of others in giving us something in a gaming app that we WANT to come back to. Think about it, when people say that WOULD pay for removal of apps, your game has worked, and your ideas are sound. Don’t know what else is in the works for the future, but please keep us informed. Once you make the updates, I promise to update my rating. I’ll keep this short - this is a fun little game, good concept, nice graphics. However ads have been bolted on in such a poor way that you actually have to restart the game to continue playing every time an ad pops up. I understand developers need to make money, and I have no problem looking at the occasional ad. However, please do as good a job implementing ads in your game as you do on the game itself. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. The Old West / Poker theme is lovely and well fleshed out. A wonderful game to spend a few minutes on when free, and having to wait for more bullets to refresh after a handful of games means you won’t get distracted and stay on it all day. Delightful, enjoyable light distraction. Ps. Who are the artists that worked on this?
