### 3/5 — Ok

*2026-08-30, version 2.1.40*

Good idea. However it is hard to understand what to do sometimes as the language used to help is strange

### 4/5 — Great Strategy

*2026-08-25, version 2.1.39*

I have been playing online Holdem tournaments and wasn’t improving. I spent a couple hours on this app and placed 2nd on the next tournament! I won 30 times my buy-in. The app taught me a whole new strategy that just kept working.

### 3/5 — Great premise, execution could be improved

*2026-07-15, version 2.1.28*

I love the idea of the app, but there are a few things that I think could do with improvement. The idea of a poker app similar to Duolingo is genuinely great, I downloaded it literally the first ad I saw for it, and the lessons genuinely are informative. I’m not a poker pro so I can’t exactly speak on the entire validity of the strategies presented in the app but in the online micro stakes games I’ve played these do work. However, there are a few things I think could be improved. For one, I think that being required to finish every lesson prior to the next mixed with the energy system just makes it kind of miserable for anyone choosing to use the free version of the app (especially if you did not pick the correct level), but I do understand that it pushes people to want to try the plus version so it makes sense. I think that doing away with one of these things for free users would retain a lot more people. Also just a little nitpicky but personally I find the speed at which the text shows up in a lesson is kind of annoying with how slow it is. Would be perfect if there was a setting where you could change the speed of the animation or disable the animation entirely and just have the text pop up.

### 3/5 — New Interface Sucks

*2026-07-03, version 2.1.23*

I loved using this app and was on a pretty long streak. But they updated the playing interface to have AI generated characters and look like a real table instead of the minimalistic cartoon setup they had going on. It’s so much harder to track what’s happening with the new interface, the UI is broken on my phone, and it overheats my phone now after like one puzzle for some reason. They did some kind of AI slop update to the app. Would love to have the old app back. Biggest problem is honestly my phone heating up I can’t use the app anymore.

### 4/5 — Not free

*2026-05-19, version 2.1.19*

I downloaded and paid for one month to see if I liked this trainer before committing to a longer subscription. After I canceled the subscription (which I always do immediately so I don’t forget) the app “couldn’t find my account” anymore. Definitely won’t be using this app ever again.

### 5/5 — Really fun and quick to learn

*2026-04-14, version 2.1.10*

Been awesome doing the quick tutorials and have already learned quite a bit.

### 5/5 — Great app! When will new lessons drop?

*2026-04-13, version 2.1.10*

This has really made learning poker easier and more fun. So much so I burned through all the available lessons in record time. When will more lessons be available?!?!?

### 5/5 — Informational

*2026-04-13, version 2.1.10*

Great simple and fun app to learn how to play poker!

### 5/5 — Overall Great Learning Tool

*2026-04-04, version 2.1.9*

Fantastic poker app; particularly for new players just learning the game. Smooth controls, familiar feel, and tons of potential. There are still challenging puzzles for more experienced players as well (which have SERIOUSLY improved since early development in recent updates). I’m really enjoying it so far and excited to see where it goes from here. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Great app! Rated too low

*2026-03-28, version 2.1.7*

I really like the daily puzzles and explanations for each answer. The main course is excellent too. I’m excited for more content. I also like that it’s easy to learn poker terminology along the way, with many words clickable with definitions included. It definitely deserves a higher rating, and I hope the app keeps growing!

### 2/5 — Not clear

*2026-03-16, version 2.1.5*

The questions they give you are so vague sometimes they barely explain what they want you to answer. Very unclear. You get wrong answers because of the little information they give you.

This app is meant for “beginners” with elite poker level knowledge required at the same time

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-03-09, version 2.1.2*

Been learning a lot from these puzzles and lessons. Can't wait to see what's next

### 5/5 — I love this

*2026-03-08, version 2.1.2*

I’ve been doing pretty well at poker games with my friends and is all thank to these lessons

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-03-07, version 2.1.2*

Awesome idea with useful puzzles, drills and progression. Can’t wait for the more in depth sections to come out!

### 5/5 — Best poker learning app

*2026-03-01, version 2.1.1*

Early versions were buggy, but now it’s smooth and well-designed. I only play poker a few times a year and always try to brush up beforehand. This is the perfect app - engaging, fun, and informative.

### 5/5 — Promising future for this app

*2026-02-23, version 2.0.9*

Overall the app is well made. The design, UI, and overall look of it is simplistic but attractive. I know that things are just rolling out, but I wish things would have released with more content. To get through the first 2 sections and then be locked out was really disheartening, as I’m already a fairly competent player and was looking more for advanced skills than rudimentary “click all the Spades” type content.

Also, the initial “hint/advice” in the speech bubble under the goal of the objective should be able to be hidden. It gives away too much when you’re trying to solve on your own. ie: One said directly “Two checks. Bet small for Thing Value” and then the options were to Check Back or Bet Small. It takes no thought if you tell me just above to bet small.

I may end up deleting, but I hope when I come back it’s more full fledged, because I honestly think I would use it every day. I think it could be that good.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2026-06-05, version 2.1.21*

I’ve played poker but wth are these questions they don’t explain anything properly like what do you mean rank and letter mean rank ect it’s genuinely insanity and make it more confusing then it needs to be

### 1/5 — Small blind buttons

*2026-05-11, version 2.1.18*

It is truly difficult to take a poker app seriously that makes the button the small blind. Get the free trail if you are learning basic poker but cancel after that. There are other apps, books or shows that are better to learn from

### 1/5 — Basic w/o paying

*2026-03-28, version 2.1.7*

Only a handful of remedial scenarios until it continually pops up for you to Subscribe.

I tried signing up to see if it unlocked more, but now I feel like I was scammed and they will Sell my Info

### 1/5 — Doesn’t even work

*2026-02-14, version 2.0.6*

Been trying to sign in with my phone number but I get an error every time don’t waste your time or energy on this app

### 1/5 — Inaccessible

*2026-02-14, version 2.0.6*

I couldn’t even use the app. The Clerk code never worked. The apple or gmail logins loaded constantly and never let me sign up. Even after deleting and redownloading. Shame, as I feel like I’d have enjoyed the app layout and positions.

### 1/5 — Can’t do anything without paying

*2026-02-11, version 2.0.5*

Very disappointing as you can’t even experience what the app is supposedly able to offer without subscribing.
The learning path is useless, have to start from the absolute basics and there is no way to skip it forward. Wanted to check the advanced material and I couldn’t even get a taster.
Puzzles are advertised as unlimited while in reality you can only do a daily one, plus a couple of others from the collection. Everything else is behind a paywall.
Overall it was a very poor experience and waste of time.
I appreciate it is fair to pay for a service but this is nothing like duolingo where you can progress for free. Also there is no way to test before you try, there is a free trial but need to commit to a year subscription.
The app design is good, basically a duolingo copy.

My advise is allow users to really experience what the app has to offer and see it’s value before asking to subscribe for a full year.
My feeling is that the reason for this is that there is not a lot of material, I have seen a few dozens of puzzles listed for example which you could probably go through in a day, from there you are stuck with a yearly subscription without any additional value.
This felt like a very alpha version to be honest, wild devs expect to monetise already

### 1/5 — Disfunctional

*2026-02-10, version 2.0.4*

On half of the questions the words are cut off and I’m stuck on the beginner stage of lessons and I can’t skip to where my level is

### 1/5 — Wasteful

*2026-02-03, version 1.5.5*

This is not a poker training app, this is a card learning app that teaches you to differentiate between what the club symbol and the spades symbol is. Do not download.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-01-17, version 1.5.2*

Tried using the app multiple times in the last few days and couldn’t even sign in. Great idea, but they need a competent technical team behind it.

### 2/5 — Requires Payment Too Soon

*2026-04-07, version 2.1.9*

Great game to learn how to play poker, but requires payment before you even finish the first lesson. Needs more interaction for free players.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Poker skill app

*2026-09-02, version 2.1.41*

Great app

### 5/5 — Top

*2026-08-22*

Top

**Developer response:** Top é exatamente o que a gente quer ouvir! Somos um time pequeno trabalhando rápido, então vem mais por aí. Boa sorte na mesa!

### 5/5 — Great!

*2026-08-18, version 2.1.38*

Best app for quick learning!

### 5/5 — A++

*2026-06-26, version 2.1.21*

I am learning so much and love the process. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Very good; would recommend to anyone

*2026-06-19, version 2.1.21*

Let me start this by saying that I was a complete fish before installing this app. I thought I knew about poker, but I didn’t. This app has so many specific scenarios, which gives you experience for real tables. The breakdowns are very detailed and do a very good job of explaining when to make a certain play and why. The terminology they use is techy, but not too niche that it becomes a foreign language. Overall, I would recommend this to literally anyone who is starting to become serious about Texas hold ‘em poker.

### 5/5 — Pretty good, uses AI art though.

*2026-06-10, version 2.1.21*

The app is pretty much the Duolingo of poker. My only complaint is the avatar is AI generated which makes the app look cheap.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-06-02, version 2.1.20*

Helps you learn in a straightforward and clean way.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-05-05, version 2.1.16*

Love this app. Been telling everyone I know about it and I literally go on this everyday. Highly recommend.

There’s Daily puzzles aswell as a learning pathway. A leaderboard has also been introduced and you can now compete against friends.

Brilliant app and can’t wait for it to develop further

### 5/5 — Has potential, needs time

*2026-04-21, version 2.1.12*

There are too few lessons with more “coming soon” the only other thing you can do after that is puzzles. More lessons needed. Downloaded this off insta, but it should have more development before being advertised as a finished app.

### 5/5 — Confused

*2026-04-21, version 2.1.12*

The APP is good but it says you’ve finished all lessons, more lessons are coming soon - There’s no indication as to when these lessons are coming - Could somebody tell me please?
