Good for home games mtt games msy see this struggle. ### 3/5 — Good for Advanced games, needs improving for home games *2008-10-06* Nice interface, nice options, it seems to work ok most of the time, the issue I have with it, it is not easy to set up for "home games" while it is giving you options that might be needed for a Casino level (which they provide that anyway). Simplification, and assistant options would make this the best timer ever... Let's see how my 3rd attempt at a tournament goes. Support is 1st class, email reply in less than 30 mins. Please fix the bug which crashes the app when choosing settings. If I can't change settings this app becomes practically useless. Please also restore landscape mode. It's now harder to see and smaller, add to that there being no landscape mode and it's like I may as well just use the timer on my phone! Begging you please...fix it. ### 2/5 — Okay, but needs more. *2008-08-20, version 0* Blind timer is okay, but needs a "Pause" feature to be able to stop and start the clock without automatically resetting the time. This is essential for times in a tourny such as coloring up chips or when combining tables, when they don't usually occur at the end of a level. ### 2/5 — App not done yet: works like a beta with bugs and missing features!!! *2008-08-18, version 0* I consider this app as a beta! There's some bug: continuous beep if you set the break to 0 to avoid break, the next blind value doesn't match to our setting, the buttons are way to small to be used, the two different views doesn't give you the same information, etc... Also, there's some missing features such: be able to force the change to the next level (if you do a next blind every x turn), or even both setting (every x turn or every x min); You can't change a single value in your blind structure without messing up with the complete structure; You can't pause to set your own break when you wish. You can't choose the size of your starting stack; if you want play with small, medium, large or custom starting stack (rate (10 to 200) between the chipcount and the first level BigBlind).This app needs some improvement to be worth the value. Seven out of Ten. davaki ### 3/5 — Last upgrade made it worse *2012-03-27* I use this app every week at our pub league poker night. Last version was great, even though setting sounds was a nightmare. But since the last upgrade I really don't like using it. The colours and fonts are rubbish! The landscape version has just been added back in but worse of all, my phone battery no longer lasts long enough for a single game whereas I could use the old app for a couple of games without any problems. ### 3/5 — Great app but still needs development *2009-08-07, version 0* I've used blind timer since the first edition. It's gotten much better but it's not quite done yet. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great App, some minor suggestions. *2014-12-25* Hi I use this app regularly for having a game of poker with mates at home. Very useful and intelligent editing is a great help. All in all five stars. Some minor suggestions: - allow a blind level to be moved, so if you want to add an earlier blind level, it can be dragged into the correct spot (at the moment you need to delete back and remake them all or edit all of them) - create an option for changing the time of all blind levels simultaneously - modify the tournament view so current blinds are more dominant - adjust so that it works for iPhone 6 plus (when editing structures you cannot make a break as the keyboard covers the break option). ### 5/5 — Perfect *2012-10-11* Easy to use, exactly what you need for home games ### 5/5 — Used to run local tourny *2010-07-04* I use this to run my weekly poker league in the local pub. Nice and loud. One big problem is the lack of multi tasking as you can't do anything on your phone while it's running! A couple of requests to make this a five star app: The stop button ends the game... It needs a warning or something if accidently pressed. It would also be nice if you could add or subtract time on the go. The current blind amounts need to be a bit bigger in landscape mode. It is a great app overall though. ### 4/5 — Very good *2009-07-17* Not sure what other users are finding "clunky". This is a very easy-to-use and pretty comprehensive tournament manager. There are a few improvements that could be made, and the promised landscape view doesn't seem to be present, but there are no major omissions and this will do a great job of running your home tournaments. ### 4/5 — Nice update *2008-08-19, version 0* This was the worst of the poker timers now it's beats the rest options take a minute to figure out but it's a better start than before the update this program does allow u to crutch the blinds now which is nice... The only thing that was a problem was the alarm could not be heard with the stereo playing. It needs to be louder and perhaps flash the screen as it counts down to the blind change.
