### 3/5 — Money.

*2026-05-13*

You know i was really excited to use this app, i was aware i was gonna have to be put on a subscription which is fine, but $20? that’s more than Netflix and Youtube Premium. Unfortunately Im only 21 and need to pay rent and other bills. Would have been fun though if it was 4.99-7.99 a month.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2026-03-20*

I’m not sure why, but I thought there’d be live game play. Kinda boring in this context.

**Developer response:** Flop Factor is designed as a fast daily preflop decision trainer for cash games & tournaments. Quick fold/call/raise drills in 3–5 minutes, not live multiplayer game simulation.

### 2/5 — Very one dimensional

*2026-02-27*

This app does help you learn the basics of preflop poker, but it’s a hard stop there. You just drill 10 hands at a time and it doesn’t even always explain why you were wrong in your choice of action. There’s no other supplemental learning either. Just fold, call, or raise over and over again with not much further knowledge to gain.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback. Right now the app focuses heavily on drilling preflop fundamentals through repetition, but we’re actively expanding the learning experience with more explanations, scenarios, and deeper analysis features. Updates are already in progress, and feedback like yours helps guide what we build next.

### 1/5 — Another AI slop clone

*2026-02-11*

They want your $$$$ as saas before a hand is dealt hahahhahaha. Good luck making your money back on this garbo devs 😂

**Developer response:** I appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. Flop Factor was built by a former professional poker player (me) not generated by AI. Every range and drill is based on real poker strategy.

### 3/5 — Good but…

*2026-01-13*

Would like to know why my selection was an incorrect play….

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We're actively working on adding explanations for all scenarios. Right now, we have custom explanations for single raised pots at 100bb, but we're expanding coverage to include more situations like 3-bet pots, shorter stacks, and different positions. We appreciate your patience as we build this out

### 1/5 — A scam. Deserve a refund

*2025-12-19*

All the reviews are people that work for the company. There is nothing good about this, and the latest update ruined it. There is only pre-flop. There is only ever a min raise in any simulation. Only you can re-raise a min raise. None of the computer opponents will raise your raise or raise the raise of another computer opponent. There is no tips like it says in the reviews by the company. I have received 2 comments in several months. When I first started it said “you’re folding weak hands, good job”. Now after update, months later it said “you’re raising well from HJ”. Two comments. Also it marks you correct if you choose the option that is GTO most often. It used to still display the percentages for other options, so there was some opportunity to learn something. With new update it doesn’t show percentages but only says what the most frequent choice should be. Sometimes most frequent is 35% and all three are practically even. But they made an effort to block you from even learning that

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! This is just the first version. We started simple on purpose and have a lot more features and improvements coming soon.

### 1/5 — Only preflop only 6 handed

*2025-10-25, version 1.1*

I’m not sure if it will change as I progress or something but there is no option to customize it any other way. A very basic app that a 4th grader could make

### 2/5 — Needs Work

*2025-10-19*

There are errors in the code. For example: Practicing from UTG it showed 5,6 suited was a raise then later said 7,6 suited was a fold. I took a screenshot. Additionally, I don’t see any indication it is noticing any patterns and helping by retesting mistakes. It’s not noticing where you struggle and doing anything different.

**Developer response:** Appreciate you pointing that out! The 56s vs 76s thing isn’t a bug. It's a GTO difference between positions, but yeah, it should definitely be clearer. We’re adding explanations soon so you’ll see why each hand plays the way it does, plus an update to the AI coach feature. Thanks for helping make Flop Factor better, I really appreciate it.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-09-16*

It’s like having a poker coach right in your pocket. The design is clean, it’s easy to use, and the features feel very intuitive. You can quickly spot mistakes, fix them, and steadily improve your game.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much! That's exactly what we set out to build. A clean, easy way to spot mistakes and improve quickly. Glad you find it useful!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Subscription Required

*2026-05-04*

Seriously… stop this nonsense. It should be clearly and unambiguously stated that there’s no way to use any of the features on this app without a subscription, $24 a month is also an insane price I have enough subscriptions already that’s way too expensive

### 1/5 — Worst app

*2026-04-23*

I wasted 10$ on a app that is literally garbage don’t waste your time or money

### 1/5 — No free option

*2026-04-11*

Most apps like this will give you a free option that limits the amount you can practice in one day, and I was fully expecting this app to be the same. To my surprise this app is not like that, instead there is no free option, and the app does not allow you to play a hand before they ask for a subscription. I hope this helps everyone understand what is going to happen before they buy.

### 1/5 — Taking advantage of gamblers

*2026-03-15*

Pay $20 for an app that isn’t even finish?! I’d say this app is a flop!! Made me want to turn my phone off and throw it in a river!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. A major update is dropping soon with preflop charts, progress tracking, and deeper explanations. We're building fast and the app keeps getting better. Appreciate you trying it out.

### 1/5 — Another AI slop clone

*2026-03-15*

They want your $$$$ as saas before a hand is dealt hahahhahaha. Good luck making your money back on this garbo devs 😂
Edit: I make not be a poker pro but I’m not an idiot, your app as-is will fail. The splash page literally references AI. The UI, logo etc are clearly AI generated. You didn’t invent the charts, you don’t own them and they are static. This app is neither the best, different, the first and surely not the cheapest. Look at al everything else you can get for $20 and compare it to the “value” your app offers - it’s laughable dude. Good luck.

**Developer response:** I appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback. Flop Factor was built by a former professional poker player (me) not generated by AI. Every range and drill is based on real poker strategy.

### 1/5 — No trail but expect payment

*2026-03-11*

Reviews are not that great and cannot trial run the app, but expecting a payment. No go for me.

**Developer response:** I understand wanting to try before you buy. We're a small team and the paywall helps us keep building. That said, we're actively working on giving new users a better preview of what's inside before subscribing. Appreciate the honest feedback

### 1/5 — Free Trail

*2026-03-05*

They want you to pay for it before even giving value to the app, the only information you have about the app is the reviews which are NOT the best. so i’m not going to pay for a sub to a mid app

**Developer response:** I hear you. We know asking for payment upfront is a big ask, which is why we're focused on making the app worth every dollar. We're shipping a major update soon with preflop charts, progress tracking, and deeper explanations. If you do decide to give it a shot, I think you'd see the value quickly but I respect the hesitation.

### 1/5 — Simulation Sound

*2026-03-05*

It drives me crazy that there is not a setting where I can turn off the sound features. If I’m listening to my own music, every time there’s action around the orbit it pauses my music to play game sounds. It’s distracting. Please allow for the option to turn this off. It’s incredibly frustrating to run drills but be unable to listen to music on my phone at the same time.

**Developer response:** We will be including an option to disable simulation sounds in an upcoming update so you can run drills while listening to your own audio. Appreciate you pointing this out and helping us improve the app.

### 1/5 — Way too expensive, especially since it’s an AI trainer

*2026-02-27*

That pretty much sums it up. $19.99 a month is insanity

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate you taking the time to try the app. Goal is to provide a practical training tool players can use regularly to improve their preflop decision-making. We’re continuing to add more features, scenarios, and deeper explanations to increase the value over time. Your feedback is helpful as we keep improving the product.

### 1/5 — Lack of insight

*2026-02-18*

Played 20 hands. Only once did it offer insight as to the right play and why.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the honest feedback, I really appreciate you taking the time to try the app.

Right now, explanations are shown for single-raised pot scenarios and for spots where there’s real strategic decision-making involved. We don’t currently show explanations for very clear folds (like 7-2 offsuit), since those are more straightforward fundamentals.

We’re actively expanding the explanation feature, and 3-bet scenarios (and more advanced breakdowns) are coming very soon.

I have been using this app to learn how to effectively play poker, it made my pre flop game so much easier. I played in my first tournament last week and cashed out $9000, hopefully I do better the next one

### 5/5 — Highly recommend!

*2025-11-22*

I’ve been using this app for a couple of months and it honestly has really elevated my game. Gamifying the training makes it easy to stay consistent and it’s actually giving very helpful advice!

Great on the go preflop tool!

### 5/5 — Excellent Trainer

*2025-10-13*

If you’re looking for something simple to regularly practice and master your skills, this does the trick.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2025-09-20*

The app allows for an engaging experience to learn poker. Traditionally okee learned out of a book or youtube video is dated. This is an updated and elevated experience. From beginners to pro players there is use to be absorbed

**Developer response:** Appreciate this a ton!. That’s exactly the vibe I was aiming for. Glad it’s hitting!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-09-19*

This app is amazing for anyone who wants to actually learn poker the right way. It doesn’t just throw you into a game it walks you through real situations and shows you the best play to make. The explanations are clear, and the reviews after each hand help me understand why a certain move is correct. It feels like having a personal poker coach guiding me step by step. I’ve already noticed that I’m making smarter decisions and avoiding mistakes I used to make all the time. The layout is simple, easy to follow, and really beginner friendly while still challenging enough for more experienced players.

If you want to improve your poker skills and learn solid strategy, this is the best app out there.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! That’s exactly what we set out to create. A true training tool that guides players through spots with clear explanations and feedback. Appreciate you taking the time to share this!

### 5/5 — Learning quickly

*2025-09-16*

It’s Duolingo but for poker

**Developer response:** Love that comparison. That's exactly the goal! Thanks for being here and using the app.
