### 5/5 — Outstanding App

*2014-01-15, version 6.4.2*

This app is extremely powerful. I'm a professional player and use it frequently for analysis when I'm travelling.

It is possible to do equity calculations as well as flop texture analysis. The ability to import hand ranges from the Mac version is very helpful.

The team at PokerCruncher respond brilliantly to customer feedback and really understand poker.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2014-01-12*

Certainly disabuses you of preconceived notions about generic hand situations. Sophisticated scenarios are made possible by %age ranges, etc. A great tool for transitioning from recreational player to beginning pro level thinker.

### 5/5 — Best Poker App Period

*2013-12-19*

And unlike well known politicians this is no lie. This app does it all combos, hand ranges, deal to flop only, turn only, or all the way to river. Compare hand vs range vs board and see a heat map and % for each hit hand. Load and save multiple hand ranges for comparison and detailed analysis. Last but not least the developer has an online forum thread where he takes his customers suggestions to any improvement they think may be helpful. One of the truly 5 star apps on iTunes.

### 5/5 — Must have!

*2013-11-26, version 6.4.1*

Great app that has all the features of PokerStove plus a lot more. Anyone serious about improving their game would be foolish to overlook this little gem!

### 5/5 — GREAT APP!!!

*2013-11-09*

A must-have for serious Hold 'em players.

### 5/5 — Outstanding Tool!

*2013-10-16, version 6.3.1*

I use PokerCruncher mostly while analyzing previous hands to better see where I went wrong/right, or while studying new tactics/strategy to improve. Together with my odds/ probability table I find it is a fantastic aid to improving my game.

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2013-08-17*

No complaints at all. I would like to see it act a little more like flopzilla.

### 5/5 — Sehr hilfreich!

*2013-01-19*

Im Gegensatz zu anderen Analysetools auf Iphone/Ipad kann man hier beim Gegener nicht nur Hände, sondern Ranges eingeben und nach Montecarlo bewerten lassen. Ein echt hilfreiches Profitool!

### 5/5 — great app

*2013-01-18*

I love this app as its basically poker stove but with a intuitive interface... the developers have worked hard to improve the app with fewer glitches and bugs as well as enhanced functionality.

I hope they can implement a bit of the web app Flopzilla into the next release.

a must have for a serious poker player

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2012-10-23, version 5.4.1*

I was a bit hesitant because of the price. But the app is definitely worth every penny.
It is surprisingly fast to compute scenarios even with a random hand.
You can put a player on a range of hands.

It is definitely as good as pokerstove, if not better.

### 5/5 — Ottima

*2012-10-21, version 5.4.1*

DA AVERE PER OGNI GIOCATORE DI POKER

### 5/5 — Does everything (and more)

*2012-09-12*

This is a powerful tool to calculate odds for Holden. It can be set up with one or many players and you can give them a range of hands they would play based on how conservative a player they are. Great if you take notes of live game situations and come back later and use this app to see where you really stood in terms of probability you would win.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why?

*2013-12-09, version 6.4.1*

So you can't calculate unless you know everyone's cards. What's the point?

### 1/5 — Schrott 👎

*2012-05-31*

Gibt falsche zahlen an. Man hat laut app zum beispiel auch prozente auf ein fullhouse obwohl dies nach hand und board schlichtweg unmöglich ist. Manchmal hat man 0% auf ein pair selbst wenn die nötigen karten noch im deck sind.. Sehr schade 👎 abzocke..

**Developer response:** Hello,

We can assure you that the odds calculations are correct, and have always been correct.
If there were such basic problems as you claim, everyone would be reporting them, for years.
Can you please send us your export-scenario-text to confirm?

You have most probably set e.g. the Deal-To setting in the wrong way, to maybe Flop or Turn or HoleCards, when your intention is the (the default/normal) River. This can affect the stats greatly of course. Please see the "Deal To" section in our webpage Tutorial.

-RJ, PokerCruncher, LLC

### 4/5 — Best

*2021-02-20*

I agree. The best iPad pocket app hands down — a mobile flopzilla. All hands listed by equity is a great feature. I *really* wish, however, that these were broken down by individual suit. I hope this can be added eventually.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your great review. Re. "All hands listed by equity is a great feature. I *really* wish, however, that these were broken down by individual suit" - the Mac(Expert) version of PokerCruncher can do this, but this is more complex and requires more calc/computing power/time, so this feature will remain only in the Mac-Expert version. Thanks for using the iPad-Advanced version. Regards, -RJ/PokerCruncher, LLC

### 4/5 — A 4 only because we can all do better

*2020-04-11, version 12.4.1*

Nobody is perfect

### 4/5 — More than I will ever need

*2015-12-07, version 8.2.1*

Flopzilla and poker stove on steroids and for the iPad. :)

### 4/5 — Works as advertised!

*2015-01-19*

The app seems very well-crafted. It has all the options any poker player requires. I wish it were a little more intuitive and didn't require resets of particular sets.

### 4/5 — User

*2014-10-23, version 7.3.1*

Great for all equity calculations

### 4/5 — Good App

*2013-01-17*

Overall good app for analysis. Would like more detail on made hands e.g. Not just "one pair" but top pair or better, middle pair to top pair,....

### 4/5 — nice

*2013-01-12, version 5.5.1*

nice and functional, though GUI could be made in a more attractive way :) lack of design.

### 4/5 — Solid application

*2012-06-07*

Would like to see Omaha, omaha 8 and stud variants

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2021-12-09*

The best poker app for iPad, period.

### 5/5 — THIS SOFTWARE IS GREAT

*2019-05-09*

PokerCruncher is a big winner!
I started to play Texas Hold'em in the early 1990s. After moving away from Las Vegas in 2002, I didn't play very much at all. Everything new that evolved in the game; hand range analysis, equities, etc., passed me by. So now, having returned to Las Vegas, I needed to learn how to play the game all over again.
After I purchased PokerCruncher, everything about it was a blur to me. But after R.J. (developer of PokerCruncher), was kind enough to graciously spend time putting together a list of videos and other materials for me to review in order to help me. He even recommended a world class player to help coach me.
NOW I USE PokerCruncher RELIGIOUSLY EVERY SINGLE DAY. PokerCruncher is one of the best all time software programs (regardless of application) I have ever seen or used. I'm qualified to make this statement given my tenure with IBM, and in my own company which relied on developing and implementing new techniques in database analysis.

### 5/5 — Very usefool tool!

*2018-12-28*

It’s very easy to use and is powerful for quick calculations for nearly everything, so thumbs up.

But I have one question: where can I change the hand range in the iPad Version?

**Developer response:** Hello, thanks for your review. Sorry it took us so long to reply to your review. We just noticed your review; it's posted in a different country App Store than our home country so we didn't notice it.

Anyway to answer your question, I believe you're referring to the Top X% hand ranking system used by the slider in the range editor view. The "Advanced" versions of this app (this iPad version, and the iPhone version) have just one hand ranking system: the PokerStove hand ordering (hands are ranked by preflop all-in equity vs. 3 random hands). This is a general purpose hand ordering. The Mac(Expert) version of PokerCruncher has 8 different hand ranking systems that you can choose from. We felt that this feature was best suited for only the Mac(Expert) version of this app. Regards, -RJ/PokerCruncher

### 5/5 — Well worth paying

*2016-12-30*

Not only is it better and more flexible that poker stove but actually has support. I sent a (dumb) question and received a response within hours. On a Saturday. You won't be disappointed.

### 5/5 — Great learning tool

*2016-11-17, version 9.5.1*

I estimate my odds when playing online.
Love using this app to see if my math was close. Use it all the time.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2016-11-04*

Must have for any poker player who wants to study poker to improve their game.

### 5/5 — This app is perfect

Huge fan of this app: works perfectly (no bugs), easy to use and understand, great export options. And very addictive! Must have for any poker player

### 5/5 — Buy it! Great app!

*2016-06-03*

This is a GREAT app! Well worth $5!
more people should buy it and review it!
Unfortunately I don't use this nearly as often as I should but I do believe that a lot of time spent playing with this app would certainly be beneficial to improving your poker game! I kind of wish there was also a version of this for Omaha that I could buy.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2015-09-20, version 8.1.2*

Must have poker app. Deserves 6 stars actually!

### 5/5 — excelent app
