## What is Pokerface?

Who's bluffing?

Pokerface is a party game for 3 to 20 people and one phone. Everyone gets the same secret word – except the bluffer, who doesn't know it and has to fake it. Can you catch them before they guess the word?

HOW TO PLAY
1. Enter the names and pick categories.
2. Pass the phone around. Press and hold to see your card in secret.
3. Each say one thing about the word without saying it.
4. Call out the bluffer, then tap "Reveal" for the answer.

It takes a minute to learn, and nobody has to read the rules first.

WHAT YOU GET
• 3 to 20 players on one phone
• More than one bluffer in big groups
• An optional hint for the bluffer – turn it off for a harder game
• Choose whether the bluffer can be picked to go first
• A timer from 1 to 30 minutes, or no timer at all
• Works offline – at the cabin, in the car, at a party
• No ads, no account, and the app collects nothing about you
• Fun for the whole family

FREE AND PRO
The free version has 4 categories and can be played as much as you like. Pokerface Pro unlocks 6 more categories (300 new words) and your own word lists with your own hints – for the class, the office or the family.

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and Family Sharing covers the whole family.

Gather the group and keep a poker face!

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-26

The rules are now four short screens with pictures that explain the game at a glance. They appear the first time you open the app and before the first round each evening, so new friends can jump right in.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-25

Pick your own time limit, from 1 to 30 minutes. And decide whether the bluffer can be picked to start the discussion.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-23

Pokerface now speaks German, French, Swedish and Danish – each with its own word lists, picked for that country, not translated.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-23

No release notes.
