### 4/5 — love it

*2026-07-01*

love this game so much and im very picky w games, just let us choose background themes maybe

### 5/5 — A lot of potential!

*2026-06-11*

I can tell the dev put a lot of thought into the game, and the last update was much appreciated. It runs very smooth, and I love the animations, sounds and trinket combinations! I would like to have a bit more definition (less pixelated) in the trinkets since they are so small and hard to tell apart. The trinkets are the coolest part, so I hope they get the attention they deserve. I can live with them as they fit the theme really well.

### 4/5 — It’s good

*2026-06-11, version 1.0.18*

It’s good, kind of a mix-mash of poker and boggle, nothing too groundbreaking but a strong quality game.

### 5/5 — I love the game and would like to give a piece of feedback

*2026-06-10*

I love this game and I like that it’s a unique take and style to the mechanics of balatro without it feeling forced… the inspiration is clear but the game is very unique

But please for the love of all that is holy add Flush House! I have had so many opportunities to use it and it only counts as a full house despite being the same suit! You could even do a wild flush house if you wanted but I NEED it more then SpongeBob needs that glass of water!

Thanks for listening to my Ted talk!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! I had considered adding it, but since I already had 3 other extra hands, I didn’t want to overshadow the original poker rules with too many made up hands. Thank you for playing!

### 5/5 — Has become my most played game.

*2026-06-10*

Ive played Balatro and Slay The Spire for years. Just found this a month ago and I find myself playing it more than Balatro and STS combined. Really fun and intuitive if you know a little bit about poker. Can’t recommend it enough

### 4/5 — Just needs a couple tweaks

*2026-06-09*

The Balatro influence is strong here and it makes for a clever card game variation. I appreciate the free model and paid for full almost immediately after finishing it. I would like to see a couple tweaks for telling cards apart beyond that there is (pixel graphics aren’t good for this) but also Game Center/cloud sync, it doesn’t sync games between iPhone & iPad so I can’t have the same game on both devices. Otherwise it’s fun & challenging if you like poker

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! I apologize for the legibility with the cards I’m trying to find a way to stick with the pixel aesthetic while keeping it clear. There is an option to make each suit a different color to help with that.
I am also working on Game Center support for cloud sync in a future update!

### 5/5 — Balatro: Mobile Edition

*2026-06-09, version 1.0.17*

pretty good

### 5/5 — Fun and relaxing game. Found a glitch.

*2026-06-07*

***Spoiler Alert***

I found a glitch when using the “orthogonal” billiard balls. If you immediately click on the “orthogonal” type billiard balls after activating them on a card, the billiard ball is not consumed thus it regenerating itself. This also allows the user to discard a card on the board without the consequence of consuming said billiard ball.

The game is fun and relaxing however it’s easily solved by using the yarn and weights. You can pretty much beat all overtime levels on all boards by using these two trinkets which are easily obtained in the shop as they are common (the 1 lb weight and the yarn).

**Developer response:** Thank you for reporting this bug! I have also been keeping a close eye on the trinket balance. The auto-upgrade ones, such as yarn and weights, are too powerful at the moment. In the most recent patch they’ve seen a slight nerf. Continuing to keep an eye on balance for future patches.

### 5/5 — Good stuff

*2026-06-05, version 1.0.15*

The game’s good stuff. Nuff said.

### 4/5 — Addictive. Fun. Expensive though.

*2026-06-04, version 1.0.15*

I would give this perfect score if it weren’t so expensive. And it needs a hints button for when you get stuck.

### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing

*2026-06-03, version 1.0.15*

It’s well worth

### 4/5 — Great Game That Needs a Bit of Work

*2026-06-02*

The game itself is fun and easy to pick up whether you’ve enjoyed similar titles or not. It’s balatro-like, but the core mechanics are pretty unique. There isn’t much else to say that others haven’t so I’ll go ahead and point out the one issue I have.

This game desperately needs a better tutorial or glossary system. There are too many mechanics to list with descriptions that are impossible to understand without just winging it and hoping you’re doing the thing that’s being described. Most of these issues involve the directional mechanics. When an item says “cross your path X times” or “move X direction Y times”, I have no clue what the heck it’s asking me to do. It took me like three losses in a row just to figure out how to make certain trinkets and core mechanics even work. These shouldn’t be things that require brute force trial and error to learn. Hell, even a side note for what “Orthogonal” means would probably help people out.

Also, my last gripe, for the item that lets you turn one card into a copy of another, you need to either outright state which comes first and second for the desired outcome. Example: balatro’s tarot card that does the same thing clearly states “Left card copies the right.” This game is different though, and it is not intuitive to have the second card copy the first unless outright stated.

Overall the game is great, but it might be a bit frustrating trying to learn things through trial and error.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! I agree that some mechanics and trinket descriptions need to be clearer. I’m working on improving tutorials, help text, and item wording so players don’t have to learn as much through trial and error.

The card-copy item is good specific feedback. I’ll update that description to make the order much clearer. Thanks again for taking the time to explain!

### 5/5 — Add

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Raw Balatro clone, same price

*2026-06-09*

Very raw game, has bugs, not many mechanics, text sometimes goes outside the screen and is unreadable. Did you just copy Balatro and ask for money for it? I'd buy it for 1/3 of the price, but not for the same money as the original.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback, and I’m sorry about the text going outside the screen. The additional languages are a new feature, and I’m working to improve them with each update. I’ll keep fixing layout and readability issues as they’re reported.

### 1/5 — Not enough free content

*2026-06-08, version 1.0.17*

Only 2 free levels. Not enough to enjoy the game

### 1/5 — I’m not sure how it got such good reviews

*2026-05-26, version 1.0.12*

It’s so terribly boring. Really that’s all there is to say

### 1/5 — Regurgitated card roguelike.

*2026-05-16, version 1.0.10*

Match hands. Play actual Poker instead of these copy paste card games.

### 2/5 — Just balatro

*2026-06-14, version 1.0.19*

Didn’t differentiate itself too much. At least has a different style. Kinda shameless but still fun I guess. I mean balatro is fun so…

### 3/5 — Fun but unbalanced

*2026-06-27, version 1.1.0*

Fun game but you lose unfairly a lot because of bad card deals and nothing you can do. Mostly about luck

### 3/5 — Fun but unbalanced

*2026-06-12, version 1.0.19*

Fun game but you lose unfairly a lot because of bad card deals and nothing you can do. Mostly about luck

### 3/5 — Poker chips and sandals

*2026-05-22, version 1.0.12*

It’s all just poker chips and sandals

### 3/5 — Seems easy

*2026-05-19, version 1.0.11*

Playing the demo seemed really cake. I had no challenges with the base cards no upgrades. I cleared both tables with ease. Coming from someone who 100% completed the “other poker roguelite” Just worried to buy the full game and it’s just a kitty game.

### 3/5 — Justice for free to play

*2026-05-17, version 1.0.10*

At least give the free to play people the ability to go back to table one with the same build.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Unreal Good

*2026-07-16*

Quite possibly the most fun game I’ve played on mobile. Perfectly made, and the team is doing a great job at balancing, updating, and keeping it fun.

It’s addicting, easy to pick up, and hard to master. Great game all around and excited to see the game continue to develop with new items and more!

### 5/5 — A fun and well-built game

*2026-07-10, version 1.1.5*

Beautiful, easy to get started, interesting mechanics and progression systems. I had a good time playing this!

I think the difficulty could be bumped up a little after a few stages, but that’s just my personal preferences speaking.

### 5/5 — Este jogo é FENOMENAL.

*2026-07-02*

Bizarramente viciante, lembra Balatro mas com a jogabilidade muito mais divertida. Parabéns aos desenvolvedores.

### 5/5 — Love it and

*2026-06-27, version 1.1.0*

Why did you remove the landscape view for iPad? I can’t stand having to turn it.

### 5/5 — One of the best games I have played

*2026-06-26, version 1.1.0*

Even without knowing anything about poker, you still can play this game just go online and remember your favourite scoring and go crazy and build up your op trinket set focusing on just that. The only thing I am sad about is the lack of levels even if I purchase the full game but overall, just the free trial itself was awesome. A must try.

### 5/5 — Few changes could be made

*2026-06-24, version 1.0.20*

First of all, great game😁.
Now for my balance change rants
There should be more rank modifying cards
Amp is treated weirdly
Magnet sucks almost all the time
Similar to the other poker rougelite, Pairs are overpowered
There should be an option to transfer progress between devices

### 5/5 — Fun Balatro Clone

*2026-06-18*

While heavily inspired by Balatro, it manages to standout with unique gameplay and fun variances on the scoring system. Pokermancer separates itself further with its own challenges and inherent difficulties.

Edit: Going to set this one down until it gets smoothed out. Changes are being constantly pushed out and it’s bothersome. I understand seeking to improve the game, but it’s disruptive when it’s done so frequently. Item descriptions didn’t need changed either. Orthogonal can be deduced by the item’s use. Descriptions are too long and wordy now.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Things as of 1.0.20 and now 1.1.0 (which adds new content) haven’t changed much recently. I appreciate your patience with the rapid changes and redesigns. I got a lot of feedback that people weren’t sure what “orthogonal” meant off-hand so I changed it, but I understand your frustration with the wordiness.

### 5/5 — A Diamond in the Rough

*2026-06-17*

They don’t make games like this much anymore. A reasonably priced game with incredible art, gameplay, AND you can try before you buy? It reminds me of the early days of mobile gaming in the best way.

It’s a superbly executed twist on Balatro’s gameplay and the fact that I can play it one handed adds a lot of convenience.

Honestly just download it and give it a try, if you like Balatro you’re going to love this!

### 5/5 — 🛸

*2026-06-13*

Gonna be a classic 🃏

### 5/5 — Great little game!

*2026-06-12, version 1.0.18*

Fun, challenging, nice UI
