### 3/5 — Doesn’t seem to work

*2026-08-11*

Will there be an update so it works with pogo? All suggestions were follow but it’s not showing up as distance on game

**Developer response:** Thanks for the detail — two things to check.

First, please update to 5.7.0 (build 5323). In 5.6.0 a day froze after the first log, so later entries looked like they worked but never reached Health.

Second, make sure PoketWalk is allowed to write both Steps and Walking + Running Distance (Health > your profile > Apps > PoketWalk). An app that tracks distance rather than steps needs that second permission, and it starts switched off. Then check the other app's own settings: many let you pick where steps come from, and if that is set to the phone's built-in sensor it ignores anything written to Health. It also reads on its own schedule, which can take a few hours.

If it still doesn't show up after that, write to us from Settings > Contact Support and we'll work through it with you.

### 3/5 — Walker

*2026-08-02*

Still Doesn’t work, but at least my health app is counting the distance. Doesn’t do much more then that

**Developer response:** We're sorry, and we understand the frustration - the app genuinely did not deliver what you expected.

The root cause: until now the app only wrote a step count to Apple Health, with time stamps that most fitness games simply ignore, so your walks had no effect in the game. Version 5.3.0, released on July 31, rewrites this completely: each walk is now saved with the correct time interval and also includes walking distance in kilometres, which is what those games actually read. The bug where steps were not credited after watching a video is fixed too.

Please update, and in the Health app make sure PoketWalk is allowed to write both Steps and Walking + Running Distance. We can't promise that any particular game will accept it, but this was the piece that was missing.

If you paid for a subscription and are unhappy, reportaproblem.apple.com will refund you. Questions: https://loquedeverdadimportasite.wordpress.com/app-support/. Sorry for the bad experience.

### 1/5 — Misleading App

*2026-07-05, version 5.2.0*

Invites the idea (based on icon design and name of app) that it adds steps/walks to Pokemon Go, however it does not work in that way. I suggest others to not download this app and look elsewhere!

### 1/5 — it was good

*2026-06-01, version 5.2.0*

this was so good at the beginning, but is now LOADED with ads and it doesn’t work anymore. even if i watch the 3 long ads that it is now, it doesn’t give me the steps.

### 1/5 — Not working with Pokemon go

*2026-05-30, version 5.2.0*

Doesn’t work with Pokemon go

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-01-27, version 5.1.0*

Adds steps to health App but doesn’t effect Pokemon

### 1/5 — Pointless - doesn’t work

*2026-01-02, version 5.1.0*

I followed everything I needed to and didn’t work

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-11-26*

Won’t even let you close the ad after it’s done playing. Doesn’t work at all. Same devs have made 2 other apps running the exact scheme just under different names.

**Developer response:** You were right, and we're sorry. This was our bug, not something you did wrong. In the older version the steps were not saved after the rewarded video finished, and the ad could hang on the close button, so you watched ads for nothing.

Both are fixed in version 5.3.0, released on July 31: steps are now written to Apple Health immediately after the video, the ads SDK has been updated, and walks are also saved with walking distance and the correct time stamps so fitness apps and games can actually read them.

Please update and give it one more try. If you paid for anything and would rather have your money back, reportaproblem.apple.com will refund you, no questions asked. You can reach us at https://loquedeverdadimportasite.wordpress.com/app-support/. Sorry for wasting your time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 5.9.1 — 2026-08-17

Now there is a community. A chat server for questions, bug reports and early news, in Chinese, English and Spanish. The developer is in there. You will find the link in Settings.

Also fixed: the What's New screen was still describing the old daily-limit behaviour instead of Natural Pace, which is what the app actually does.

### 5.9.0 — 2026-08-15

Natural Pace
Your steps are written at a pace a body really walks, so the apps that read your Health data recognise a walk and count it. Turn this off to write as fast as you like.

And no more dead ends: when a log will not fit at a natural pace, the app hands you that switch on the spot instead of saying the day is full.

### 5.8.0 — 2026-08-15

NO MORE DAILY WALL

A step count too big for one day used to be refused: "today is full", and nothing was written. Now the app offers to spread it backwards over the previous days, so the whole amount goes in. You choose — spread it, or keep only what fits today.

Also fixed
• The app now tells you how many steps still fit into today before you tap anything, instead of after.
• A write that Health refused no longer uses up the day's room. Some of you were being limited without your steps ever having been saved.
• "Today is full" no longer appears while the day still has room.

Thank you to everyone who wrote a review with the exact time and step count — that is what found these.

### 5.7.0 — 2026-08-11

You can now change a walk you already logged. Tap the pencil in the history and it rewrites the same stretch of time in Health, so the walk keeps the hour it happened in instead of jumping to now.

- Log a walk you forgot: pick when it ended, up to a week back.
- Optionally save entries as a walking workout as well. Off by default, and it asks for its own permission - decline it and your steps are still saved exactly as before.
- Steps are now written minute by minute with the pace drifting slightly, so what reaches Health reads like a walk rather than a block.
- A Share option, and a new troubleshooting section for when another app isn't picking your steps up: some of them have their own setting for which source they count.
- New widget: put today's added steps on your Home Screen or Lock Screen and check them without opening anything.
- Fix: room for new steps now reopens as the day goes on. No more "Today is full" first thing in the morning after an early log.

### 5.6.0 — 2026-08-08

Fixed: after a few logs in the same day, the steps stopped landing on today. That is the bug behind "I have to reinstall it every day", and it is gone.

- Type any amount you like, not just the four presets.
- Choose Today or Yesterday.
- Steps reach Health as a series of short samples with a natural change of pace, and never cross midnight into the day before.
- When a day is full, the app tells you how many steps still fit instead of failing quietly.
- A full log of everything you have added, grouped by day, and the number pad now closes.
