Great game
Hi
I dunno for title
Good. just... doesn't feel right
Its good
Xtra cool
Response from developer
Thanks for the detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoy the game. We do plan to add a French translation in the future — we’re a small indie team, so it takes time, but it’s on our roadmap. We also appreciate your thoughts on territory conquest, balance, and progression, and we’re actively working to improve these areas.
Great Game With Huge Potential.
Great game! I love the concept, as it reminds me of my favourite game, Pokémon GO, but expands on the idea and makes it about countries, which makes it even better in my opinion.
However, I have one problem that Pokémon GO also has: inventory expansion. In Pokémon GO, it costs 200 PokéCoins for a small amount of extra inventory space (25), while in PolandBall GO it costs 200 Gold for an even smaller amount of expansion (20). This makes it difficult to efficiently increase your inventory and collect as many Polbies as possible.
It’s also difficult to find Gold efficiently. Unlike Clay, you can tell when something is a Bucket of Influence, Orbstone, etc., so I think keeping Gold hidden with a Clay-like amount icon until you are within range could make finding it more interesting and encourage players to explore and approach resources.
Another idea for getting Gold is inspired by Pokémon GO’s Gym system. In Pokémon GO, you can leave Pokémon in Gyms and receive PokéCoins when they are knocked out, with a daily limit of 50 PokéCoins. PolandBall GO could expand on this by allowing players to leave Polbies in Dungeons to help other players when they attempt them. When your Polbie returns, you could receive around 75 Gold as a reward.
There could either be no daily limit or a larger daily limit, such as 250 Gold. This would give players a more efficient way to earn Gold while also giving them something useful to do with the large amount of Clay they can collect.
Future update idea: If a player owns territory somewhere, they should be able to collect the resources generated by that territory even when they’re far away. For example, if I own London but I’m currently in South Korea, I should still be able to collect London’s resources because I own the territory. Being physically there could still give extra bonuses, so travelling would remain useful. This would make owning territory more useful and could also create more interesting events between players over resources. 🥺🌍
Overall, great game! It has definitely made its way onto my list of favourite games. It’s a new and great PolandBall game to move onto after the recent iOS updates made older PolandBall games unavailable. For being so new on the international stage, PolandBall GO is already doing really well, and if it continues developing like this, I think it could eventually rival much more established games like Pokémon GO and Minecraft.
Definitely deserves its rating! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½
