Polgar Magic Detective is a video game created by professional illustrators and writers. Every detail is perfectly taken care of to wrap you in a story of mystery and fantasy.

In the year 1750, a sealed jar is found in a mining excavation in Greece. The jar is brought before the scientific authorities of the time, where professors from all over the world manage to open it after much effort. All kinds of magical creatures are released, transforming the world forever. Humans born after the opening of the jar are born with supernatural powers.

It is 1999, Polgar is a magician detective obsessed with summoning whose discipline he has never mastered. He is accompanied by a magical spirit named Elpis, the only creature he has ever been able to summon. Both solve cases involving magic and creatures. They seek to capture them so that they will not be used again for perverse purposes.

Polgar: Magic Detective is an adventure of magical and supernatural crimes. With the help of the spirit Elpis, you will have to investigate each case full of hidden and mysterious evidence. Light torches to illuminate an abandoned tomb, listen to the strange sound coming from a dark forest, or dive into the depths of a lost sea.

### 5/5 — Charming — doesn’t deserve it’s harsh rating

Okay, so this is definitely underrated. You could see that the developer and artists care about their characters and this project. Put Neopets and Point-and-Click-Games into a blender and you get this. This should be rated higher, and it’s a good game that undeservingly got buried. A couple suggestions, though. I only played the free parts, so they may be invalid for paid viewers.

Suggestion 1 - Creature lore? I want creature lore. Give me creature lore. Don’t force me into clicking evidence and there’s cool creatures I don’t know anything about! I want to know more than a short description! Show off your creatures as a compelling hook. It’s what sets you apart from other games! I want to know more about the creatures, because I need a Pokémon Mystery. (This also applies to the characters, I got immediate Apollo vibes as soon as I saw Polgar. Tell me more about your characters!)

Suggestion 2 - Warn a F2P before downloading a game that’s basically a demo. I get the Devs worked hard on the game, but…I can’t afford it. *Sad noises* There’s only one chapter available for someone that’s F2P. I know the rest of the game’s good because of the book series reference, so it hurts. Guess I got to keep trekking on the F2P route with rhythm games and Mihoyo. (…Seriously, about half of my phone is rhythm games at this point, it’s ridiculous.)

I don’t know what the other reviewers are talking about — I just played through the first level and everything seemed perfectly functional.  I’m not going to say that I found it to be the most riveting experience of my life, but it seems unfair for the only review would be a flat claim that it’s broken.
