I can’t imagine this app being useful whatsoever living outside of the city. Also am using this with an IPhone 17 Pro Max, and the audio is absolutely horrific. Monthly pricing is abundantly higher than it should be! Definitely better & even free apps I’ve found that function better and have more availability in the NYC/NJ/Tri-state area. If your in the Tri-State I can at least speak for this area. This app is a large waste of money. Even at that, only 6 listeners were streaming, which was my first indication that this scanner was not as popular and/or reliable enough to draw in more of an audience. I thought it may be due to the difference between a subscribed listener verses a non-subscriber. I purchased the yearly subscription. Doing so made no difference whatsoever. In fact, by the time the subscription had been approved, there were only 3 listeners and the other channel was still offline. At any given moment, the only two channels available have been offline more than not. While emergency responders could be heard nearing my neighborhood yesterday, I tuned into this so-called Police Scanner app for emergency alerts. Again, both channels were offline, and there was not one ‘alert’ available! In summary, it would have been as informative to have lit on fire the $39, than to have paid for a subscription to this “scanner”. I would have at least watched my money go up in smoke! Certainly this scanner would not have recognized it nor streamed it as a fire emergency… the app is always offline! ### 5/5 — Cooperation *2026-06-22, version 2.39.0* This app is a definitely a privilege. I was able to get NOAA weather radio on the app. What’s more frustrating is I am listening to emergency dispatch on a ham radio but police scanner doesn’t show any of these agencies using those channels. I paid $40 for this app only to have it work 1% of the time. I wish there was a way to get a refund because I am tired of trying to use it only to have it fail or show offline for every single fire, police, sheriff, whatever for every single city and county in north Texas.
