However, it does not pick up ALL the traffic from our local dispatch... Only selected frequencies. But nice to hear what's happening in your area even when you're miles away. One of my favorites! We can get fire and ambulance now, but State & Sheriff Police dept. have switched over to upper digital channels that are not available on this type of scanner. ### 4/5 — Usually pretty good! *2015-07-05, version 3.1* One of the better apps for scanning. Recently though the start up page where it gives you the "reports" of incidents, hasn't been working. Deleted it, redownloaded it. Still the same. It's always been user friendly & easy to navigate. I liked it from the beginning, but had considered not using it due to so many glitches. If you could also list the city with the county. Sometimes I'm looking for a specific and to go by the county. Also, a sleep timer would be cool, and if sessions could be recorded for later listening! Really pleased with the ease of use and the fact that so many channels are already pre-programmed. It cuts out and sometimes transmissions are unclear. I can usually get enough information to almost know what's going on. It's compelling. It has a lot of channels and probably the one your looking for. This was the coolest feature- but it has not worked on my phone for over a year. Please fix this ~ as it’s a great option to have on a scanner app. Very disappointing. THIS APP CAN'T BRING IN... *2011-05-25, version 2.1* Can't bring in local suburbs. It mainly has large county-wide Sheriff's stations, large Metro areas,and fire, EMS and such stations. Obviously these "inventors" don't understand, nor care, what their customers want. They have no way to accept feedback and fix problems. I was told that I COULD add any station by adding their "feed" into the station and it would add that city's station. That was it. I got no instructions. The cities which are included have asked to be included. Otherwise, you will listen to County and urban areas so large that you will not be able to tell where "they" are. How does one obtain the feed, and add a station? Robert ### 2/5 — Poor! *2011-05-24, version 2.1* Slow and still not as good or as easy to access compared to the safari and now that its not dl to this phone it just sits there while I mess around on my safari!! Also the notifications don't come thru to my emails or phone like they are supposed to for everyone!! It only works for certain ppl why??? ### 3/5 — Updated version *2015-11-18, version 4.0* Update!! Giving 3 stars, used to be a 5 star app but keep reading, there's hope it will be again. right Here is why I give 3 right now. They have updated and it's really nice. I get a few reports here and there now. The design is much better as well. Always reliable scanning as I never had a problem with that. Never got a refund from having to download it previously though. The rest remains the same. Can't get email responses. Charged again though already paid. Never got a refund or response. App now is giving few reports but reports are back. Used to be the best all stars app!!! Seeing they updated I'm awaiting better things, one can hope!!! Never stopped using it. Just had to seek search online for things instead. Scan is always reliable, but still get some saying station not working or error. I still ask that-Please someone respond, I've tried 20 different ways and still hadn't heard from anyone. ### 3/5 — where have my channels gone? *2012-12-27, version 3.1* Seems my most visited channels are disappearing one after another. Used to really enjoy listening and could count on finding what I was after. Does NOT cut in or out...live stream. Everything is CLEARLY heard. There’s NO buffering. You stay CONNECTED (optional) all while your surfing on other apps/web of your phone.
