## What is PolicyVector Reader?

PolicyVector accepts study bundles encoded by the PolicyVector desktop application, delivered to your device via the Apple files system or Google Drive.  Once loaded onto your portable device, PolicyVector Reader allows you to study your flashcards using the Leitner Method, listen to and review your policy outlines, take multiple choice tests you have already created, and both listen to and actively practice your oral board study scripts.

### 1.4 — 2026-07-29

Version 1.4 adds CarPlay support for listening to your study materials on the road. Browse study packages, play complete outlines and Oral Board scripts, listen to combined outlines at any level, and adjust playback speed directly from CarPlay.

Readback now continues across the app, Lock Screen, Control Center, and Dynamic Island, with improved play, pause, restart, skip, interruption handling, and resumable playback. Longer materials also provide clearer progress while audio is being prepared.

Adds persistent readback across the app, Lock Screen, and Control Center, with play, pause, restart, next-block, and resumable listening controls. Readback now shows clearer merged-outline titles, scrolls long titles, handles interruptions and audio-route changes more reliably, and lets you press Back once to restart the current voice block or press it again quickly to move to the previous block.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-22

Adds high-quality on-device readback for outlines and Oral Board practice, with 28 English voices, live playback-speed controls, and encrypted audio caching for faster replay. Also adds improved outline navigation, prepared pronunciation for compatible shared and merged bundles, and Classic, Day, Swing, and Graveyard appearance modes.

Adds Sign in with Microsoft for licensing, including secure license activation and improved license movement between devices.
