### 1/5 — Broken (I Guess?)

*2025-01-18*

I very much like the idea behind this and I liked Politnous 1 so I'm giving 2 stars. However for me I'm stuck at the entry level. So, as far as intervalls are concerned, for example, I have had 100% success at identifying them in the first level and I've been playing for half an hour straight now. But somehow it still doesn't move up. Like, it only plays unisono, minor third, minor second and major second. Why does it not let me practice telling apart fifths and fourths or anything else really? I'm stuck doing minor thirds, minor seconds, major seconds and unisono no matter how good I am at it or how long I keep playing....The fancy "level up" graphics and sound effect are annoying and I have "leveled up" about a hundred times or more now without actually being given more complex challenges.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

Won’t accept any input so you are stuck at the first screen in the game

### 1/5 — Not worth the money

*2022-02-19*

This app’s layout and features feel very cheap. The lack of clarity as to how your are progressing the through “levels” hinders learning and doesn’t allow the user to focus on where they need the most help. There is no good way to create your own exercises and the only way to “learn” from the app is through hitting the play button.

When you select the correct orb it doesn’t play back the interval/chord that is correct. This is basic reinforcement of learning that this app lacks.

Don’t waste your money by buying this app.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2022-02-06*

Was expecting better because Politonus 1 was great. But this seems very sloppy, lurching back and forth between beginner and advanced levels and displaying seemingly meaningless stats. No clear indication of why you moved up a level, just flashy graphics.

The Politonus 1 system of 5 correct answers in a row to go up a level and clear stats was more straightforward and rewarding

### 3/5 — Good but issues

*2019-11-03*

This a good app but there are glitches with some chords being out of tune

### 4/5 — Possible bug?

*2019-03-09*

I enjoy playing the game and believe it will help me develop my ear. My problem is that my progress is not saved; every time I open the app it starts over from the beginning. How will I ever see the higher level challenges? I purchased this app because of the promised feature that it will keep track of how I am doing and offer new challenges appropriate to my level, adapting as my skills improve. That isn’t happening. Is there an easy fix to this problem?

Update: I deleted, then re-installed the updated version of the app. Problem solved!

### 4/5 — Other great app from MDecks

*2019-03-07*

A different approach to ear training. I found it helpful to compare the chord qualities of the 3 spheres especially in the dim and aug chord structures. Disappointed that the app doesn’t recall my previous level once I close and reopen the app.

**Developer response:** Version 1.2.0 now saves your progress correctly :)

### 5/5 — This is an amazing app

*2022-05-23, version 2.1.0*

This is really well made!

### 5/5 — Amazing and really different!

*2019-03-04*

I have tried many ear training apps and I can say this app is now one of my favorites. The app learns really fast where my weaknesses are and I have improved tons in just a few minutes of using it.

The progress view not only shows you how well you are doing but you can also tap on each ball to hear the sound, really cool.
It’s also nice to have an entire picture of all the possible intervals, triads and seventh chords.
