### 2/5 — Astonishing how little this company innovates

PE has had basically the same set of bugs since its release years ago. This app was a nice bright spot in that it allowed us to Airplay from iPhones and iPads to a screen, taking up the full projected screen while giving us control on our devices. 

Six months ago this feature broke, and instead of fixing it they “updated” the app to no longer have the presenter mode this app is built for.

This is not how one stays competitive in a crowded field.

What a disappointment the iPad app is. Imagine setting up the perfect poll, presenting in class, responses come in, everyone’s excited to see the results, and NOPE, you cannot display results screen because for some reason, the results are only on the secondary display and, oh, wait, now, the iPad app is frozen and there’s nothing you can do except restart your iPad. Every single time!

Save yourself the trouble and present from a browser if you use an iPad.

Developers - please fix this broken app.

The app does not work well on my iPad. It shows a white screen and does not give me an option to close the presentation. I guess the developer did not bother testing the app on iOS. Disappointing. I will uninstall.

There is no way to share an activity. I just wanted to access the share link and I can’t. Useless

I do not see any way to log out except deleting the whole app and reinstalling. I pay for two accounts so I need to log out and clear responses for the other polls but the app doesnt have a log out button to sign into another account.

Can we have the ability to change if we see responses are not from the app when activity is active? This will completely allow not having to be tied to an internet browser…

Glitch factory. You never know what you’re going to get - glitches across macOS and Win, Safari, Chrome and I even had to try Edge (gross). It used to work really well... what on earth happened? Totally unreliable, I won’t be risking even the most inconsequential polls on this app any more.

For me the presenter app is a step backwards— maybe if you’re a power user it’s more intuitive, but for someone who wants just to quickly run polls during meetings and lectures (and see the results) it’s more work and more learning curve.  Also it feels like a “webpage in an app” rather than a true app.

I have tried installing and using this app on my IPad multiple times, and it’s TERRIBLE. It crashes, it’s not clear how to add slides to presentations, and, worst of all, it shows the respondents answers, you can’t prevent them from seeing what other people are responding, so my students, instead of making their own choice converge on the most common answer. I’m so frustrated using PollEv in my university classroom, I hope my institution finds a better tool very soon.
