Bestest is charging 10 (TEN!!!) dollars a month just to COMMENT! ridiculous!! this app and it’s admins have had its ups and downs but this? this is a new low. ### 1/5 — Horrific *2020-07-17* The staff ruins everything about this app. Post a poll and they don’t like you personally? They delete the poll. The staff works based on personal grudges; If they don’t hate you and you post something extremely racist, sexist, or even post outright porn, they don’t take any action against it. However, if they do hold a grudge against you and you post a real poll wanting to know opinions, it’ll get deleted. This is an app where you get punished for defending yourself and others against racism while the one making racist insults or remarks is rewarded. Thanks! ### 4/5 — Fun *2019-08-13* It’s a fun community and there’s some good polls. It’s maybe the only app not riddled with ads and in-app purchases which is so refreshing. I only took off 1 star because it’s got a lot of younger kids and they’re not even supposed to have the app with the age range it’s for, so can’t really ask very adult themed questions, not sexual ones anyways.. and I think that’s a bit too bad but oh well. It’s fun and entertaining overall ### 4/5 — Great app! But... *2019-07-13* Bestest is a great app! It keeps me occupied on days when I am soo bored. But... as soon as you vote on someone’s poll it immediately makes you follow them! I don’t wanna follow all these people, and it takes a while to unfollow them. The other thing is the profile rankings. I can’t find anywhere where the profile rankings are explained! ( what does each ranking mean and how do I achieve a higher ranking) I don’t even know what my own ranking means! Let me know where I can find this information! I’m very disappointed with it now. ### 1/5 — Terrible new update (Gone downhill) *2021-01-02, version 2.3.8* Do you see why basically the only good reviews from this app are from a year or more ago. This is why... This app when I joined was amazing!!! I would get about 65+ votes for my polls which were super easy to make. Before I joined, I saw polls would be getting 100-200 or more votes so I understood that the app had a little less participation but I didn’t mind that. But then people started harassing one another and making discriminatory comments for about a month straight. Then, within the past month or two, a lot of people left the app so I will usually get about 25 votes per poll. But now Bestest got a new update that everyone hates including me. You are no longer allowed to comment on peoples polls unless you pay $10 a month or $60 a year which is very frustrating. Also, it is more confusing and harder to use now. I wish Bestest would go back to what it used to be like because I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with this new update and what the app has become. Please Bestest, GET RID OF BESTEST PLUS! Please, you are going to lose so many people because of this until your app is so terrible that no one will use it. This app has so much potential so please get rid of this new update. Also, there used to be a very helpful help desk you could message on the app, but now you have to email the help desk which I don’t feel comfortable doing. It's not even a one time small purchase either! It's a subscription that you have to keep paying for! This used to be a wonderful app with a great community that could speak their mind. Then new admins took control, there is an awful amount of unpunished bullying and harassment, and little to no moderation from the lazy, penny-pinching admins. Don’t try to speak out against these fascists, even if your poll is written politely and appropriately, it will be taken down within a few minutes tops if it even hints at the admins being at fault. Making and voting on polls keeps me occupied during long car rides, down time, etc. It’s super fun! I have a couple of suggestions, though, that I hope the developers will take into consideration. When commenting on polls, I wish that you would be able to directly @ a specific user to ensure that they get a notification and know that the comment is directed at them(instead of multiple users having convos in the comments and using '^' when addressing a specific user). I would also like to see some sort of private messaging system where users can privately contact others. I feel like I’ve connected with some specific users and would like to have actual conversations with them instead of going back and forth in the comment section of a poll! Lastly, I think it would be cool to be able to publish polls anonymously. I know that you can vote on polls anonymously, but I think it would be interesting to be able to publish polls without people knowing who did it. Overall, I really enjoy this app and like how small and intimate it is in comparison to Wishbone or another overpopulated app. Keep up the great work and I hope you consider my suggestions! **Developer response:** Thank you so much for the feedback! Definitely my favorite app right now, can’t put it down! ### 5/5 — It is improving!! *2019-06-15* I’ve had this app for some time, and I have loved it since the day I got it. I’ve always loved making polls to find out people’s thoughts and opinions on things. So, this app was perfect for that. There are a few things that annoyed me, like seeing the same polls over and over being posted up by different people, but they resolved that issue by having a little rating system. It’s cool, you can be a pollstar, and even champion. I was pollstar and began working hard coming up with original polls so I could become a champion. I even have a tattoo of the bestest crown on my leg yeye 🥰 They are also working on setting up direct messaging which I am happy about. The help desk people are also great I love how it’s real people responding and not an automated bot. I’d definitely love to become a influencer for this app. I’ve already managed to get my friends to download the app. It’s also very useful with its private poll option where you choose select people to participate in polls you make.
