## What is Poly?

Your brain already replays it. The argument. The flirt. The awkward goodbye in a language you barely speak. Most of us loop those moments in our native tongue, wishing we'd known what to say back.

Poly flips it. Paste a real conversation — one that actually mattered to you — and turn it into a personal language drill.

Two ways to drill the same chat:

Practice walks you through it line by line. You see English, you type the foreign translation. Get it right and the message posts to the chat in the foreign language. Miss and you get the correct answer for three seconds — then you retype it from scratch until you nail it.

Loop plays the whole exchange aloud, 5× back to back, with distinct voices alternating between the two speakers. The first pass anchors meaning (foreign → English → foreign). The next four just drill it in. There is no Stop button. That's deliberate.

Why this works:

Textbook conversations are sterile. The conversations you can't forget — the ones that haunt you — are the only ones your brain actually files away. Poly is for replaying those.

Private by design.
No friends list. No leaderboards. No social feed. Your conversations stay on your account, between you and the voices of the people you want to finally understand.

First launch: a built-in tutorial walks you through every step, using a sample Spanish conversation with a stranger named Ana. By the end of it, you've practiced the dual-side messaging, the EN/ES toggle, the Practice drill, and the Loop. Then you bring in your own.

Works for any language with text-to-speech coverage — Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Mandarin, Japanese, and more. Pick your target in the Language tab, anytime.
