The exercises keep getting better, I especially like the timed vocabulary quizzes with leaderboards and the conjugation quizzes as well. The chat tool is an extra bonus to practice conversation skills. The exercises are fun and you can set up a character with custom look as your avatar. I was doing great until that app changed its entire structure a few years ago. Since then I have tried all sorts of apps to try to find something as effective as that app once was. These guys managed to create the first app that is just like that app used to be. I’m learning Italian again thanks to the great structure and organization of this app. Tons of great features, no intrusive ads, and a really clean and simple (in a good way) layout. I have some customers who speak Spanish as their native language and so I’m trying to ramp up some basic knowledge. This app has all I need to practice conversations or translate phrases in real time. I can also practice conjugations to get to the next level of proficiency. I recommend this app for anybody trying to improve their Spanish or any one of the numerous other languages it includes. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Upper parts of text are cut off! *2026-07-15, version 5.0.4* Looks like it could be a good app however the ascenders of letters like d, f, h, k, l, b, as well as the upper part of capital letters are cut off. PolyChat has lessons which is good for learning basics and a translator which is good in country.
