And why is it flashing?!!!!!! Slow and boreing game as far as “production” and moving forward goes. Done rebooting everything with NO SUCCESS. WE PAY WITH NO DELIVERY. There are so many ads. Every minute there is an ad after everything. “0” emeralds, “0” playtime UNLESS, you’re willing to spend more $$$$$$$. There is also no other way of winning lives, which equals playing time. And the “gift house” now doesn’t give gifts!!!!!??? You spin a wheel and get “1” gift, seldom extra lives to win. Always coal, water, etc. ### 3/5 — Just ok! *2020-08-11, version 2.2.3* I really like this game but there are a couple issues. First of all, the orders board doesn’t give you enough of the ones to earn tools like saws..... because of this you can’t complete for example the romantic dinner location! Second of all, I use Apple to sign in and somehow I was logged out and trying to go back and Sign In with Apple it will only click it and not take me anywhere to sign in!!! All the other ways to log in work.... the register takes you to a page the log in takes you to a page and log in with Facebook takes you to a page!!!! Therefore it’s looking like I’m going to have to start this whole thing over. I’m very upset! Had it not been for these issues it would get 5 stars but unfortunately like I said I have to start all over!!!!! ### 2/5 — Good game concept, crappy execution *2020-07-09, version 2.0.0* I love this game for the stages and challenges; but in order to remain active and compelled in the process, you wind up having to buy the credits. It’s fine the first few times, but after a while in order to keep up with what challenges being presented to you for game advancement you wind up literally dumping money into it. Not a very “Polynesian” approach to the game. If you have money to blow and love Polynesian theme, go ahead and dive into this game. Otherwise, save your money and find one with better flow and engagement. ### 2/5 — Could be fun if only..... *2020-04-28, version 1.21.2* I really wanted to like this game,but it’s just not working out. It is very similar to Klondike Adventures, but not the same developer apparently. This game requires several different items that are next to impossible to obtain. I even bought the starter pack and some other aids, but it still leaves me needing saw blades, hammers, etc that you can only earn by filling certain orders on the order board or ship. It’s like being on a merry go round. I refuse to spend any more money on this game, so I suppose I will just delete it. ### 2/5 — The game ended at Lab Island *2020-04-15, version 1.21.1* I got to level 34 and at Lab Island and I can’t go any further. No more tasks to do and it just says TO BE CONTINUED. It has started an Easter side game, but Easter is gone and I don’t fill like wasting my energy and diamonds on side games. When I first downloaded this game it was showing that it would keep progressing till modern times, so least to say I am VERY DISAPPOINTED and feel cheated that I have to wait before this game can progress. These are the things they don’t tell you. Other than that I could rate it at least 4. ### 2/5 — Things take to long to finish *2020-04-09, version 1.20.3* Things take to long to finish them, they ask for to much. Lands take for ever to discover because also there they are asking for way to much. Game get bored if you can't play due to not having materials. Much things they are asking I haven't even finish the factories or haven't been able to buy it. I had this game before and had to unistalled because once you reach a level is impossible. I gave it another try because they changed many things from last time I played it. But no, that is the same. I play Township and its way better, things are expensive but they give you lot's of opportunities to earn lots of money, coin,greens. I wanted to like this game since I am locked at home for the CVD19 and need to be intertain. I guess I am getting rid of this one also. Please fix all this. I haven't been able to get the train because they ask for the same tools in others things. Basically I am stuck also in ghe game. To sad, I will not pay cask if this what this game is looking for, please fix those issues. ### 3/5 — Nice game buttttt *2020-03-31, version 1.20.3* Nice game good lay out but lots of glitches product’s in factories depending on others in the same factory way too long to complete Rewards for completing tasks are way low Resources are available but very costly on energy you have to spend money to advance and it’s not cheap $10 will give you may be 10 min or less to explore you can’t sell inventory except for few items to get the energy you depend on time to refill or use the candy from animals even that is not enough eggs are required in every baked goods and not enough produced you can’t get more than 8 chicken at least until level 39 where I am Orders are very hard to complete due to required time to complete products and lack of resources Water is another story workers and building houses is a problem by it self Bottom line If you want to play you got to pay Game is nice but it’s getting to expensive to play ### 2/5 — Great game but not enough supplies needed *2020-01-15, version 1.17.0* I have been playing this for many months. I am done. For train shipments alone, I need 20 hammers for 1, 8 for another, 4 for the other one. I have a total of 8 and no way to get more except for the Order board shipments which I also need hammers for as well as some of the ship shipments!!!!. Also I need supplies from the train returns which give you 1 of every item you need 80 or more of to build buildings. 84 for of 1 item which is only 1 of the 3 needed which have 3 different levels to complete. I have a lot of patients until today. That is why today I have quit playing. I am done. Too many other fun games out there. Sad but also relieved. You would make more money on these games if you didn’t force people to have to quit playing. ### 3/5 — Not enough workers *2019-11-23, version 1.15.0* This is a major problem for me because it slows progress down to almost a stop. I have the necessary products to continue, but I can’t because I don’t have enough workers. Having to get workers is real inconvenient because it uses coins for housing. The production buildings get very expensive as u move up the levels and again it slows progress because whatever I have saved up towards purchasing a Resource Center or a Furniture Factory gets used up first on housing for more workers. I really think the workers issue could be resolved by elimination. It’s very frustrating to have the items needed to produce products but there’s not enough workers to continue. I’m NOT hiring them for gemstones. This is a waste of my resources. I’m beginning to get bored waiting around for stuff to happen. I give this game 3 stars instead of only 1 because I really do enjoy playing when I’m able. ### 4/5 — Would gladly rate 5 stars if there were options to get resources for free *2019-11-22, version 1.15.0* Would have loved to give you 5 stars! However, I can’t believe although I love playing the game itself, it gets extremely frustrating when it takes such a long time to get all the resources you need without paying for them and I’m simply not in a position where I am able to pay for everything I need! If there were options to complete tasks or something like that to earn those valuable resources for free, I would give you 5 stars everytime I could! ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2019-11-20, version 1.15.0* I think this would be a great game if the adventures did not cost so much energy... chopping trees , mining gold , clearing rocks etc. There also needs to be neighbors so you can help one another, buy and sell goods to one another. The game is starting to feel like a money trap at this point. All the objectives require saw blades which is almost a nonexistant tool!!! Saw blades need to be added to the shop , since everything you do in this game requires loads of lumber!!!! But I’m figuring that’s the money item, because when you do have a so called sale it’s included. The people of the island should be able to eat to have more energy to clear the land!!! Its so obvious that this game is set up for the gamer to spend money . The prices are extremely too high. 100 rubies should be $.99 !!! Not $3.99!!! Then this is the game for you. They have a known issue with their giving rewards for videos watched in the game. They waste your time watching a video and then you don’t get the reward. It is most noticeable when you do the wheel of .... which is supposed to give you a chance to spin and get more resources. It waste your time and you get no chance to spin. This is prevalent throughout the game in all areas where he would watch the video. Tech-support will send you a nice polite email stating that yes you’ve gotten your reward. They have no concept the tech-support is there to fix bugs. After several times talking to tech-support of no action I’ve deleted the game and I’m giving them this one star review for their lack of support ### 1/5 — Don’t give them any of your money *2019-09-23, version 1.11.12* I have purchased many of their 3.99 bundle features. She be bundle I didn’t even received and have been doing back and forth proving my purchases were all successful. That was 4 days ago and still haven’t gotten the missing bundle I purchased. Game is very buggy, one of the other bundles that I did receive, my energy disappeared when I logged back in. It’s now day 4 and still nothing has been resolved. Successful purchase emails, successful Purchase from I store log, guess they want my DNA before giving me what I paid for. Smh. Game not worth you investing your time, nor money. Save yourself the trouble. ### 1/5 — Very disappointing *2019-09-18, version 1.11.8* The game was fun until the last update. I lost everything and had to start all over. The part that gets me is they offer a few ways to try and fix the issue and I’ve tried everyone and I’m still not where I was. What a load of crap. I can’t even login with email since it keep saying that the password must be 6-14 characters well duh I’m typing in 8 although I know I log in with Facebook. They need to fix the issue with a better way of fixing it instead of a bandaid sort of way. Very disappointing ### 1/5 — Horrible lag-update *2019-09-17, version 1.11.8* Game is really cool but the lag time is horrible. Many times when energy sources mature you don’t get your energy and same goes for the animals and factories. I won’t be spending anymore money until these issues are fixed. I don’t mind dropping some cash to play the game but if I don’t get my supplements it’s a waste of money. When messaging the help center they basically said they are to far away and working on it. They didn’t even give me anything back that I spent or reimburse me for the lost items I never got to collect. Horrible customer service, if you want your customers to spend money be sure you can deliver. UPDATE-looks like the developers found the problem, I was re-notified after a few weeks of the complaint that they see the issue and told me to stop playing for now. I did not respond. After 5 min they said they fixed the problem and issued me a credit for some energy. Very COOL of them and I’m happy with the response! Like I said before I don’t mind dropping money on an app game, back in the day I would spend $50-$70 on a new console game that had an ending. These new app games have continued play time so dropping a few buck to play is like a fart in the wind when the game plays correctly and customer service understands when things go wrong! ### 1/5 — Polynesia Adventures *2019-09-17, version 1.11.8* It was a five star now it’s less than a half of a star since the update last night. I love this game but I’m not at the moment I can’t login through Facebook like I always have it won’t connect (I have uninstalled and reinstalled over ten times DIDNT HELP) then they said to login with another method I did as a guest and it took back to level one and I was on level 26 or 27. When trying the other two ways it asks for account and password which I never had so how do I know. This is rediculous. I’ve sent several messages to Polynesia and all the y say is reinstall or login using one another method. Players have spent their own money for rubies / coins and have lost it due to having to start back at level one. Very disappointed 😡 ### 1/5 — Well this was my favorite game! *2019-09-16, version 1.11.8* You guys did an update last night and I have now lost everything and have been sent to the beginning. Spent a lot of money on this game as well as time....all is now lost. This is very frustrating. I play this game randomly throughout the day. Why is all my hard work lost to the update with no one helping? All that money and time is now gone?? It would be helpful if there is a way to fix it, that you share with us in great detail how to fix it because everything I have read doesn’t work. This game for me went from 10 stars to 1. I think right now 1 is still to high. ### 1/5 — Polynesia Adventure *2019-09-01, version 1.9.16* I got into this game and realized it was about the same as a game about being in Alaska or somewhere that I tried to play and stopped for the same reasons. Slow response and performance problems. You try to go at a normal pace and the game can’t keep up. It stacks commands and hangs. If you went to fast you loose some of your inventory and progress. It is also is a very slow game. You have to go in and out of the game multiple times a day so you can keep generating energy to play. It takes forever to generate gold to be able to advance. Once you buy a building for say 20,000 gold then you have several stages of building that take a very long time and cost a lot before you can use the building. If you don’t build in order of the tasks you are sunk. You need a lot of houses for workers, which they don’t tell you. Each building needs resources from other buildings you have built in order to build the next one. There is no FAQ so figure it out on your own. They will answer questions you send, in about 2 days but often they don’t understand what you are asking. Language maybe? I was so frustrated I quit the game and went looking for something that works. ### 1/5 — Many Glitches and awful customer service *2019-07-31, version 1.9.16* So this is exactly like Klondike but MUCH glitchier. Several times I sold goods on the board but the coins didn’t register. Another time I earned energy from the boat but it didn’t register. (I was already at 0 so I know it didn’t register.) Each time I notified support and they told me I didn’t understand the game. The last time, they finally admitted that it was a glitch and it was fixed now but they never offered to compensate me with additional coins, jewels or energy. As a result of the glitch, I was unable to complete an event. This is horrible customer service and different from any other game I have played. Getting rid of it and staying away from anything else from this game maker. ### 2/5 — Too much money! *2021-11-27, version 2.10.2* I liked this game a lot! I thought it was going to be one of my favorite. But after your really start getting into the game (somewhere around level 8 or 9) you find yourself having to start spending a lot of real money just to continue to play the game. I can’t tell you how much money i have spent thus far! It’s crazy! So now, I’m beginning to check out other games. I still come back and visit this game maybe once or twice a week. When before, it used to be quite often throughout each day! Grrrr that’s disappointing because it is a really good game. ### 2/5 — Good but super glitchy game! *2020-12-12, version 2.7.0* I only just started playing the game a couple weeks ago after I got to the end of available Klondike levels. This seems to be a good mix of Klondike and Township but the response time to screen taps is super slow (I play mostly while I on my high-speed cable internet at home). Half the time you don’t get rewarded with anything for watching ad after ad after ad. After the most recent update I am constantly getting kicked out when trying to switch between places on the map or when trying to watch an ad to get a reward at home base. Can’t give it a higher rating until the glitches are fixed. Also, so annoying that the order board is constantly asking for things I can’t even make yet. Even Klondike and Township had better AI than that! It costs too much to build every building the minute it is unlocked, and I can’t earn money when I can’t fill any order! After not quite a month of playing this game I am giving up. The glitches are too annoying. My games keeps crashing on me, and I’m tired of having to login to it every few minutes. The last time I downloaded this game, I had to download it again and start all over again🤬🤬🤬. There are a few things I’d like to see change like I think when you level up. Leveling up should be a really big deal and the prizes you get should be way better than they are now and there should be a resource center to be able to make the items needed to make energy. I play almost every chance i get! Im pretty far into the game. But now kinda stuck on Frozen! I cant seem to figure out how to get the bullets to open gates to complete remainder of level!! I gave up playing for 5 months then came back. Now I just play it here and there and am very slowly gathering my 10 thousand pieces of steel pipe I need to finish repairing my dock, I should be done gathering my equipment by the time of my 70 bday, I’m 28 now but oh well 🤷🏽‍♂️ I only came to say this, I think your ad needs improvement. I click to see it every time I can but it REEEEALLY bothers me when the little character shoots an arrow and kills the little rabbit. The rabbit pops and blood spills everywhere. Every time I’m appalled and disturbed, so I just wanted to say PLEASEEE take that part out. It’s chilling to the bone, I mean there’s no need for the blood splatter, and it’s not just a little, it is EXCESSIVE!! ### 4/5 — Good game, few ‘bugs’ *2020-01-04, version 1.17.0* I like this game a lot. It is slow to respond at times, which gets frustrating. Also, some of the request from buyers are for items you are not able to provide, so you miss out on profits. Also, when I started, I had no reached LEVEL 9 yet and was not allowed to participate in their Christmas game area. By the time I was allowed to enter, it was too late to compete. I will give this game 5 stars when the ‘bugs’ are fixed and when you are not prevented in participating in the ‘special’ contest like Christmas, etc if you haven’t reached a certain level. ### 4/5 — Great game but... *2019-11-24, version 1.15.0* This is a really great game that keeps you involved and wanting to come back and keep playing. The reason I can’t give it a 5 star is that I’m on level 17 and I’m trying to expand my buildings and EVERYTHING needs lumber. Well to make lumber, you need saw blades. The only problem is that you can only get saw blades by completing special orders on the order board or occasionally you will get them as a gift. The annoying thing about the order board is that you complete an order and get the saw blade and it doesn’t replace it with another order that you can complete to get more saw blades. You have to complete multiple other orders before you even have a chance to get more saw blades and since you’ve gotten to a higher level, the orders take a long time to complete. It really slows down the game! I wish there were a faster way to get saw blades.
