PRACTICE — Plan, play, and track your progress.
PERFORM — Build your band’s click Setlist in seconds.

Designed by a musician, for musicians. Used by Vinnie Colaiuta, Peter Erskine, Virgil Donati, Dennis Chambers & more.

◆ THE BASICS

▶ Sample-accurate metronome for any time signature, with automatic and randomized tempo changes, subdivision faders, tap tempo, Big Numbers, and a classic pendulum.
▶ Choose from hundreds of sounds, including voice counting. With Premium, import or record your own samples.
▶ Use the repeat counter and timer to track your work or stop automatically at your target.
▶ Program two independent sequencers with overlapping rhythms or different time signatures.
▶ Built-in tuner with calibration (for example, A=442), plus hands-free control using Siri or Bluetooth/MIDI.

NOTE: Playlists, Practice Log, Media Tracks, Konnakol, Custom Sounds, and more require an In-App Purchase. Eligible customers can try Premium free for one month. PolyNome Pro is a separate one-time purchase with all features available at purchase.

◆ LEARN

› Learn songs faster and take the stress out of rehearsals with Media Tracks

▶ Import from Apple Music, YouTube, or your own audio and video files.
▶ Mark bars and sections in one pass, then jump anywhere with a tap—no scrubbing to find your place.
▶ Loop or slow down difficult passages, then create and annotate a clean, printable Lead Sheet.

› Learn with interactive resources

▶ Install resources combining video, playable rhythms, scores, and notes—from the 40 Essential Rudiments to The Black Page—or create your own.

› Hear, see, and understand complex rhythms

▶ Program virtually any rhythm—even irrational meters such as 4/5—and hear accents, flams, drags, rolls, and ties played precisely.
▶ Add automatic spoken and written counting, or use Stroke Guides to see the correct sticking for any rudiment.
▶ Build two- and three-way polyrhythms, hear how the parts fit together, and follow multiple animated visualizations.

◆ PRACTICE

› Plan ahead. Then just play

▶ Use Goals to choose what to work on, when, and for how long—including overall targets that tell you when to move on.
▶ Build routines with Playlists, automations, repeats, and voice cues. Keep timers, charts, book pages, videos, and notes one tap away.
▶ Record the screen with a camera feed, then turn the video into a Media Track to annotate, loop, and slow down.

› See the work add up

▶ PolyNome automatically logs every exercise, tempo, duration, and date. Follow streaks, spot neglected tempos, and compare practice periods.
▶ Add notes to any event and see your cumulative time on that exercise at that moment—revealing how long improvement took.
▶ Print PDF reports or export your history as CSV. Teachers can review what students practiced and read notes made while difficulties were fresh.

◆ PERFORM — Build your band’s click Setlist in seconds.

▶ Create clicks for originals, automatically find the tempo, key, and duration of covers, or import an Apple Music playlist.
▶ See the total running time as you build, and add interval or encore markers showing the duration above each break.
▶ Produce a professional printable Setlist in a couple of taps.

› Take everything you need on stage

▶ Attach charts, PDFs, text notes, or forScore links so the right information appears with each click.
▶ If someone starts first, use Tap To Start to bring the click in at their tempo, or use haptics for a silent click you can feel.

◆ ORGANIZE, DISCOVER & SHARE

▶ Keep Rhythms, Clicks, Media, Playlists, Setlists, and Shortcuts organized—and find anything with search, labels, sorting, and filtering.
▶ Discover lessons and examples from Home, explore the free Public Library, or join the Practice Room for live Q&As, support, and courses.
▶ Share with PolyNome users or export MIDI and audio files.
▶ Supports VoiceOver.
▶ Send audio to other apps with Audiobus or Inter-App Audio.

### 5/5 — Great Tool

*2026-08-24, version 26.07.3*

This is a great tool for all musicians, but especially percussionists. Being able to program any rhythm is something I have long hoped for. No longer guessing when timing complex rhythms is invaluable. All young players should use this tool if possible.

### 5/5 — The ONLY metronome app

*2026-07-31, version 26.07.3*

I’ve been using PolyNome for over 10 years now and I can say it is simply the best metronome app one could ever ask for. Any feature you could think of has been considered and developed to an outstanding standard. Then, Joe will create features you wouldn’t even think of but become essential tools, such as the new random tempo feature in the newest update (July 2026). Joe is always working hard to improve what he has already done and the customer support is second to none. I don’t know how he even has time to do it all. This app goes so far and beyond what a metronome is capable of or traditionally used for and has become a fully comprehensive practice tool. I honestly can’t imagine where I’d be without it and can say with full confidence that I would be much less of a musician if it weren’t for PolyNome. Couldn’t recommend more!

### 5/5 — Yeah so why aren’t you on this app yet

*2026-07-27, version 26.07.2*

This might be the most game changing app for drummers. Get it now.

### 5/5 — Polynome - Exceptional

*2026-07-23, version 26.06.3*

I have been using this app for quite a few years now and it has been my go-to app for all things drum rhythm - Just get in and use it and you will soon see how beneficial it is to your learning and performance. The recent upgrade has enhanced it further again and any problems navigating your way thru are promptly dealt with by Jo him self, should you not find the answer in the well documented FAQ section and accompanying videos. Well done Jo, keep up the great work.

### 4/5 — Amazing

*2026-06-17, version 26.05.1*

This app helps so much with figuring out tricky patterns & all my practice needs. The reason it gets a 4 star is because sadly, you cannot input nestled tuplets(such as 5:6 inside a ninelet).

### 4/5 — Notifications Ruin Otherwise Great App

*2026-06-05, version 26.05.1*

Paying $10 for something typically means that they will leave you alone to enjoy using the app that you paid for. If the notifications, prompts, ads, and questions etc. continue I’ll probably be switching to an alternative that allows me to practice in peace. This would have been a five start review otherwise.

### 1/5 — $10 app and then almost $40 a year

*2026-05-13, version 26.05.1*

What a rip, I understand charging for all the extra stuff but come on I can’t even create my own tempo playlist without a subscription, just straight up sleazy behavior 😒

### 1/5 — It's a Scam

*2026-05-13, version 26.04.2*

I paid $15 for the app to then be asked to pay an additional subscription of $60 per year!. Without the subscription the app is completely useless. Why do they charge to download it then???

### 5/5 — The only metronome you’ll ever need

*2026-05-06, version 26.04.2*

I’m a music teacher and performer. I’ve downloaded most if not all the iOS metronomes to review for my students. This is the one I use for teaching, studying, and performing. It’s feature rich yet easy enough for a beginner. It handles all the subdivisions I need for teaching from a simple click to advanced nested tuplets. The track mark up is a very helpful feature for transcribing and learning songs. The playlist feature has so many uses. I make setlists for all my bands. I control them externally via MIDI. It’s also useful for studying and practicing longer music passages. I uploaded samples of my favorite metronome. I love it. My Dr, Beat and transcribing apps don’t. It’s so good that I paid for the premium service. The developer is amazing and always replies to any questions.

### 4/5 — 需要中文版

要是能有中文版，就完美了
