The reason it gets a 4 star is because sadly, you cannot input nestled tuplets(such as 5:6 inside a ninelet). ### 4/5 — Notifications Ruin Otherwise Great App *2026-06-05, version 26.05.1* Paying $10 for something typically means that they will leave you alone to enjoy using the app that you paid for. If the notifications, prompts, ads, and questions etc. continue I’ll probably be switching to an alternative that allows me to practice in peace. Die Basic-Version, die du erworben hast, ist jedoch bewusst so gestaltet, dass sie bereits sehr umfangreich ist und für viele musikalische Anwendungen gut genutzt werden kann. Zusätzlich beinhaltet die App einen großzügigen einmonatigen Premium-Testzeitraum, in dem alle Funktionen ohne Einschränkung ausprobiert werden können. So kann man in Ruhe entscheiden, ob Premium für die eigenen Bedürfnisse sinnvoll ist. Danke auch für den Hinweis zur Wahrnehmung. Online libraries for exercises, notation, set lists, sounds, you name it! A great Swiss Army knife for any percussionist. You can keep it simple or deep dive into all the features. Great work. Statt es ständig mit neuen Funktionen zu versehen, wäre es jedoch wünschenswert, wenn der Urheber endlich einmal eine vernünftige schriftliche Dokumentation dazu machen würde. Video Tutorials reichen nicht. Ich habe auf der ganzen Oberfläche keinen Speicherbutton gefunden, die Bedienung ist mit Herumprobieren, wie etwas gehen könnte, mühselig. So macht das keinen Spaß. Ich habe diesen Bereich nach einer umfassenden Überarbeitung der App erstellt. Falls du dort etwas nicht findest, gibt es sogar ein Formular, über das du deine Frage direkt stellen kannst. So kann ich die Hilfe-Seiten entsprechend erweitern und verbessern. Es gibt keinen “Save”-Button – alle Änderungen werden automatisch gespeichert, wie bei den meisten Apps im Apple-Ökosystem. Wenn du Änderungen rückgängig machen möchtest, tippe einfach oben auf der Rhythmus-Seite auf den Preset-Titel und wähle Undo Changes. L'application continue de se développer de manière significative : au cours des deux dernières années, j'ai ajouté de nombreuses fonctionnalités qui pourraient être des applications à part entière, et je continue d'améliorer les fonctionnalités existantes. Being able to program any rhythm is something I have long hoped for. No longer guessing when timing complex rhythms is invaluable. All young players should use this tool if possible. ### 5/5 — The ONLY metronome app *2026-07-31, version 26.07.3* I’ve been using PolyNome for over 10 years now and I can say it is simply the best metronome app one could ever ask for. Any feature you could think of has been considered and developed to an outstanding standard. Then, Joe will create features you wouldn’t even think of but become essential tools, such as the new random tempo feature in the newest update (July 2026). Joe is always working hard to improve what he has already done and the customer support is second to none. I don’t know how he even has time to do it all. This app goes so far and beyond what a metronome is capable of or traditionally used for and has become a fully comprehensive practice tool. I honestly can’t imagine where I’d be without it and can say with full confidence that I would be much less of a musician if it weren’t for PolyNome. The recent upgrade has enhanced it further again and any problems navigating your way thru are promptly dealt with by Jo him self, should you not find the answer in the well documented FAQ section and accompanying videos. I’ve downloaded most if not all the iOS metronomes to review for my students. This is the one I use for teaching, studying, and performing. It’s feature rich yet easy enough for a beginner. It handles all the subdivisions I need for teaching from a simple click to advanced nested tuplets. The track mark up is a very helpful feature for transcribing and learning songs. The playlist feature has so many uses. I make setlists for all my bands. I control them externally via MIDI. It’s also useful for studying and practicing longer music passages. I uploaded samples of my favorite metronome. I love it. My Dr, Beat and transcribing apps don’t. It’s so good that I paid for the premium service. The developer is amazing and always replies to any questions. ### 5/5 — Great tool for drummers *2026-03-01, version 26.03.2* It's a great metronome and so much more! I use it to create drum charts quickly with the Track Markup feature. You can capture the number of bars and label each section of a song while listening to it from within the app. Saves a lot time when learning new songs.
