There is a single drawback which is the game keeps crashing and I would lose my progress when I grow my forest too large. Once you run out of levels there isn’t much to do anymore due to lack of objectives. For what it is I really loved it, I just wish there was so much more of it. Very relaxing, the right balance between gameplay and just nice graphics and animations. Two small requests: 1. Add a pause button: rights now, I can only leave a level to pause it, but it would be nice to pause and be able to move around through the landscape. 2. Make animals move around a bit more naturally. Right now, they are just moving right to left and back again… that’s okay if you have just a few but strange if many are walking the same path along with each other. I decided to purchase this and since then I can no longer use the freeplay without an instant crash. Worth your while (and money if you’re into it!) *2026-07-19, version 1.2.4* I’ve nearly completed all the full version has to offer in two days, and I have nothing but high praises to say about this game!! Advancement is very well paced, and managing the ecosystem can be challenging to a degree just enough to keep it satisfying, not frustrating. I really appreciate that fires don’t harm the animals! The art style is also fabulous and the seasons are a very nice touch. The variety of music is wonderful. This definitely feels like a game made with love and care. I do have some humble requests, mostly quality of life features: - Ability to select and move more than one animal at once - A scroll bar at the bottom of the screen to quickly move from side to side of unlocked land, or a far-side snap button (hope that makes sense) - Voles and more animals being able to traverse over/through rocky terrain (if they can’t already) - A clear selection of what is going to be erased before actually erasing it - Graph showing rates of populations, maybe as a tab for each species like the reproduction or hunting tabs Very well done, can’t wait to see what future updates have to offer!! ### 5/5 — Brilliant game for relaxing *2026-07-13, version 1.2.4* I play a tonne of idle games to switch off and this is not only a really good iteration of the concept, but it’s really cute and just rather delightful. It’s quite short but it’s totally worth your time. Genuinely one of the better games I’ve found in this Apple dump where you have to sift through 400 versions of the exact same game. It’s also demo -> one purchase which is so much better than “BUY THESE DIAMONDS 40% OFF” or an advert every 30 seconds. I really am very impressed.
