### 1/5 — user interface makes me want to smash things

one of those apps that is so horribly obtuse that by the time you figure it out your inspiration has been lost and you forget your idea. then when you come back to it a week later you discover you’ve forgotten how it works and have to relearn it and wish you’d never seen it.

Oh, and by the way, don’t even THINK of pressing the button with the circle icon (it says MIDI THRU when you press it), because once you do the app stops working and you have to reload it to get it working again. Why?  No idea.

Finally, it was about time I had a sequencer that does everything—it's fantastic! But after all the other sequencers I bought before, I kept thinking, "Why don't they make a sequencer that does everything?" And here it is at last, after all these years!

A quite extraordinary arpeggiator that goes beyond the usual. It can be simplistic if that’s what you’re after, but can be really deep too. The drum editor/ arpeggiator is fantastic and makes this even more of a great app. Controlling four lanes of connected music apps, plus drums, or however you want to connect it up, makes for some seriously good rhythms. After watching the very informative YouTube videos, plus the manual, it’s fairly easy to get the idea and be surprised with the results. I really like it!   P.S. the randomisation options are superb!

If you are looking for a proper sequencer, this will suffice- but it’s much more a super arpeggiator.

So much more than an “arp app”. Opens up so many possibilities to get creative. Love the auto roll/randomize features for generating ideas. Lovely midi tool!

This 4 lane arpeggiator / performance sequencer is incredibly flexible, and heaps of fun.
Terrific chord modes, strumming, and ratcheting.
Great randomisation options. 
A performance oriented UI with little need for menu diving. 
A great iOS MIDI app.

Love the app but I have no factory presets folder is empty,building a lot of my own but I have them coming I’d like to have them

**Developer response:** You're most likely looking in the wrong place. It comes with lots of patterns which are what you need to load into each of the ARPs. Presets are a way for you to save your own sessions and not 'presets' in the conventional sense. Think of them as your finished songs, or what your DAW would save. It's like a backup of your song.
