I may change my review if my master card is already working. Pomelo has been the worst service experience I’ve ever had. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ve been a customer since the beginning, always paid on time, and never had issues—yet I still never received my Pomelo Mastercard after more than a year of back-and-forth. Now the card is suddenly blocked, and when I tried to use my own debit card, Pomelo rejected it because my bank uses my PO Box address. USPS does not deliver to our physical address, so all of our documents—including bank records and business license—go to our PO Box. But Pomelo required a physical address during signup, which is where all these issues began. I have sent every document I have, but Pomelo still won’t accept them, despite having my SSN and despite me using your service for years without any problem. If you truly thought I was a risk, why allow me to send money all this time? When I needed the service most, I couldn’t use it. At this point, if I have to use my own debit card anyway, I’d rather switch to Sendwave because their rates are better. The only reason I stayed with Pomelo was for the Mastercard, which seems impossible to receive. Plus you need to deposit money for you to enable to use it. Plus you have to pay it in full on the due date even it’s your onw money. It’s a big mistake for me using this. They won't update you of anything. No option to cancek for a transfer that taking so long to be delivered. They said habe to wait for the partner vendor for the cancellation. Up until now, there is no result. Just need my money back!!! ### 1/5 — Low exchange rate *2025-06-29, version 3.40.23* In 2024 the exchange rate was competitive, being around 55-57 pesos per dollar. Now it’s only 53 pesos per dollar— almost 52. Xoom, Western Union and others offer at least 55 pesos per dollar. The Mastercard Exchange rate has been consistently above 55 peso AT LEAST! Customer service hasn’t fixed it in months. I talked to them a few times and they just give me fake automated responses.
