## What is Pommy's Driver?

Pommy's Driver is the official delivery management app for Pommy Foods drivers. Built for the food distribution industry, it streamlines every step of your delivery route — from loading confirmation to proof of delivery, payment collection, and returns.

ROUTE MANAGEMENT
- View assigned routes and delivery stops for today and upcoming days
- Start routes once vehicle loading is confirmed
- Follow optimised stop sequences with real-time GPS tracking
- Track route progress and completion percentage
- Review route history with date-range filtering

DELIVERY EXECUTION
- View full order details: items, quantities, and special instructions
- Navigate to each delivery location with integrated GPS
- Mark arrivals, complete deliveries, and advance to the next stop automatically
- Works offline — actions queue and sync when you're back online

PROOF OF DELIVERY (POD)
- Capture customer signatures directly on screen
- Take delivery photos for product condition verification
- Record delivery outcome: completed, partial, or failed with reason
- All POD data syncs automatically with the Order Management System

TEMPERATURE LOGGING & FOOD SAFETY
- Log product and vehicle temperatures at each delivery point
- Attach thermometer photos for compliance records

Pommy's Driver requires a valid driver account issued by Pommy  Meals. This app is intended for authorised delivery drivers only.

Pommy's Driver uses location services to enable real-time GPS tracking during food deliveries. Specifically:

When In Use: The app accesses the driver's location to provide turn-by-turn navigation to delivery addresses and display the driver's position on the map.
Background (Always): When a delivery is actively in progress, the app continues to track the driver's location in the background to send real-time location updates to the restaurant and customer, enable geofence-based arrival detection at pickup/drop-off points, and maintain accurate delivery ETAs.
Background location tracking is only active during an assigned delivery route and stops automatically when the delivery is completed or the driver goes off-duty. Location data is not collected for advertising or shared with third parties.
