Unfortunately the timer no longer displays and re-installing hasn’t fixed the problem. However, I wish there was the option for the timer to automatically go into the next session without having to press start again. I feel like I would be less likely to procrastinate if it had this feature and it would be easier to move on to the next session without having to think about it. Best ### 3/5 — Timer notification doesn’t work *2021-08-01* I thought I could stop searching for a Pomodoro app due to the great project features BUT a major part of the Pomodoro method is the timer. If you are using another app when time is up, you don’t get notification by sound, vibration, nor visual. You have to keep going back to the app to check the time. Very inconvenient and disrupts focus. I’ve seen comments by developers saying there’s something wrong with the user’s settings. No, it’s the app! They mentioned turning notification to “music” would fix the issue; however, this “music” setting does not exist. Do you know your app? Unsubscribed. Best ### 3/5 — Awesome app but one major flaw *2021-05-13* There is so much to like about this app. A Pomodoro timer + detailed record of time for each project + a reward system! Seriously a home run! And personally I would love to use it BUT the timer doesn’t come through when working in a different app. Seriously??? A huge downside to the whole thing. With regards to your concern, the timer should trigger anytime, even if you are working in a different app, it triggers together with a notification so make sure your notifications are not muted. ### 4/5 — Good timer IF *2021-05-06* Really like this program and would be willing to pay annual subscription fee EXCEPT I use the timer on my phone and I often listen to music or audiobooks while I complete tasks and the timer doesn’t break through. I have to switch back to the app to check my time. Same if I’m working on flash cards in another app. I get a notification but have to go back to the app to hear the timer go off.
