Needs to be able to run in the background

I like the simple interface and purpose, it for the most part was its intended to do and nothing else, which I like.

However I was using it for helping me focus on playing guitar, and sometime during the first session I had to use a tuner app. I did, and when I came back the app and timer had reset.

I can’t see this app being that useful if it randomly resets the timer.
