## What is PonderPop?

PonderPop: Your Pocket Sanctuary

Some days you need to disappear for ninety seconds. PonderPop is where you go.

A screen full of drifting bubbles. One tap, and it bursts into light. That is the whole idea — and somewhere between the third bubble and the thirtieth, your shoulders come down and the noise in your head goes quiet.

TWO WAYS TO BREATHE

Zen asks nothing of you. No lives, no clock, no score, no leaderboard, not even a level to climb. Bubbles drift at a gentle pace and the session ends when you decide it does. This is the one for the commute, the waiting room, the ten minutes before sleep.

Flow gives it an edge. Let three bubbles slip past and the run is over — so every tap matters, your score becomes something to beat, and the global leaderboard starts to look like a challenge. The same calm surface. A quicker pulse underneath.

Most people keep both. They are different moods, not different difficulties.

SOUND YOU CAN FEEL

Every bubble answers in its own voice — small ones bright and quick, big ones soft and low — so a good run sounds like music you are playing rather than music you are hearing. Reach a new level and it resolves into a chord. Or mute the whole thing and let it be purely visual. It remembers what you chose.

BUILT FOR THE POCKET

Gradients drift like weather behind the play field. Particles scatter and fade. Nothing flashes, nothing nags. No connection required, so it works on the subway, on a plane, anywhere you happen to be.

WHAT IS IN IT

- Two ways to play: endless Zen and high-stakes Flow
- Particle effects that answer every tap
- Size-tuned pop tones and a level-up chord
- Your best score, bubbles popped and runs played, kept between sessions
- A global leaderboard: join under any nickname, or skip it entirely
- A daily streak on the main menu, with something to unlock as it grows
- Fully offline
- iPhone and iPad, portrait or landscape

STILL GROWING

PonderPop is updated often, and it is getting deeper. New environments and bubble palettes to unlock are on the way. If there is something you want in it, tell us — this is the kind of app that gets shaped by the people who actually use it.

Turn your phone into somewhere calmer. Download PonderPop.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-09

Nothing new on the surface this time.

• Groundwork on the sound engine, so every pop keeps its own voice when something else on the phone wants the audio.
• Steadier under the hood.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-08

This one is about how the game feels in the hand.

• Your music keeps playing. Starting a run used to stop whatever podcast or playlist you had on. It does not any more.
• Pops can overlap. Popping quickly used to cut each sound off with the next, so fast play came out thinner than slow play. Now it fills out.
• A bubble that gets away is audible — a soft, low thud. Quieter than anything you earn, because a miss is worth hearing and not worth punishing.
• The buzz scales with the bubble. A small one taps, a big one lands.
• Sound and haptics are two switches now, on the pause card and in the menu. Mute in a quiet room and keep the buzz, or drop both on a crowded train.
• Bubbles squash before they burst, so a pop reads as bursting rather than vanishing.
• The first pop after opening the app comes straight away. It used to stall.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-08

Runs can end now — and there is a reason to come back tomorrow.

• Two ways to play. Zen drops the score, the levels and the leaderboard entirely: just bubbles, at a gentle pace, for as long as you feel like it. Flow gives them stakes.
• In Flow, let three bubbles slip past and the run is over. Your score finally means something, and the leaderboard is finally worth chasing.
• A game-over screen worth landing on. It shows the run, your best, and a Retry that starts the next one instantly instead of sending you back to the menu.
• Your daily streak now sits on the main menu, and reaching a milestone unlocks something. Miss a day and nothing scolds you, it simply starts again.
• Lives show in the HUD, so you always know how much room you have left.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-05

PonderPop now remembers you.

• Your best score, bubbles popped and runs played are saved between sessions, and show on the main menu.
• Set your leaderboard nickname once. We'll stop asking on every score — change or clear it any time from the menu.
• Sound stays how you left it instead of resetting each launch.
• The app is now called PonderPop throughout, matching the store.
