The machine firmware should have an update that turns it off when idling for long periods. Accidentally I left the switch on before I left and the entire battery was drained. A simple software switch would have prevented this and potentially spoiling the machine. ### 1/5 — The App is Busted *2026-05-29* You’re supposed to be able to use their hardware offline. To control it you really need the app, as the remote is bare bones at best. The app simply fails if it can’t get a network signal. Absolutely nothing about this should be outside the range of the Pace S Pro and me, and yet every time I tap something I get a network timeout message. I can’t even calibrate the machine. Why would it need to connect to the network at all? Half the taps go unregistered. It’s like they didn’t do any QA on this with real devices in the real world.
