Turn vague impressions into something you can see. Pongorithm is an app that records table tennis rally by rally, revealing the patterns behind the points you win and the points you lose. Which techniques are winning you points? Which placements are landing? Was it the opponent's error, or your own decisive shot? A few taps during a match are all it takes. ■ Landing Map Winners, net, over, side, and whiffs. Every ball's landing position is mapped onto the table. See at a glance how your placements are distributed and where points are won or lost. ■ Rally Notation Each rally is saved as a readable record. Every area of the table is numbered, so you can read the notation alongside the court and revisit how a point was actually built. ■ Multi-Axis Analysis Opening / Ending / Full. Forehand / Backhand. Serve / Receive. By technique. View the same match from different angles to uncover patterns you might otherwise miss. Aggregate within a single match, or across opponents and your full history. ■ Score Announcement Scores are read aloud, so you don't have to look down while recording. Player name pronunciation is configurable, with test playback. ■ Sample Matches Included Sample match data is there from the first launch, so you can explore the analysis screens before recording anything yourself. ■ Devices Works on both iPhone and iPad. ・iPhone — Log serves and receives in 4 taps. The app remains fully offline. ■ What this app does Pongorithm is a table tennis match analysis app. Users record shots by tapping cells on an on-screen table diagram. The app visualizes shot placement, rally statistics, and player tendencies. ■ Device support The app runs on iPhone (iOS 18.0 or later) and iPad (iPadOS 18.0 or later). The iPhone version is designed for portrait orientation. ■ iPhone and iPad are designed for different use cases This is intentional, not a defect. * iPad — records the full rally, including stroke type for every shot, and provides Rally Notation and Multi-Axis Analysis. * iPhone — records only the opening of each point (serve, receive, and the third ball) and shows a heatmap. The iPhone version focuses on shot placement rather than detailed stroke recording. The iPhone version is optimized for recording live during a match, wherethere are only a few seconds between points. The deeper analysis features remain on iPad. ■ No sign-in required No account, login, or demo credentials are required. All features are available immediately after launch. ■ No in-app purchases This version is completely free. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. ■ Sample data Sample matches are automatically added on first launch, allowing all analysis features to be reviewed immediately on either device. ■ Suggested review path — iPhone 1. Launch the app. Sample matches are already available. 2. Create a new match and record a few points. For each point, tap three cells on the table (where the serve bounced, where it landed, where the return landed), then tap the name of the player who won the point. 3. Tap the grid icon at the bottom right to open the heatmap. 4. In the heatmap, tap a cell on the opponent's side to filter the view and see where returns come back from that serve placement. The input screen includes an (i) button with usage instructions. ■ Suggested review path — iPad 1. Launch the app. Sample matches are already available. 2. Open a sample match and review the analysis screens (Full Rarry, Opening, Endhing). 3. Optionally record a few rallies to see the full recording flow. ■ Localization Japanese and English.
